Help Deleting the dumpstate and logcat?

Hi

I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 and I have had an error message about storage for ages. I have found a fix for it where I dial *#9900# into my dialing pad, then go to the option delete dumpstate and logcat. This has worked a treat :eek:

Now my daughter has had the same error message come up on her Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. It might be a silly question but how do I dial that number in on her tablet???

I assume then that she has not got a Tab2 with a 3g slot? Perhaps you could still download a "dialler" app (if she does not have one installed) and see if that works....?

Unfortunately I have tried to install dialer pads from the Play Store but they don't work with that code I need to dial. When I typed it into my own phone, it opened up a secret menu straightaway. I am really stuck on this one :-/
