Timeline on music apps

I've tried 5 or 6 different music apps and am having trouble with the timeline of songs. I'd like to skip ahead, say, to a specific point near the end of a song. The problem is, the timeline is WAY off. For instance, a song that is 5:27 in length shows it's at the end (dot on the timeline) when it's only at the 59 second point, so I can't skip further down the timeline. I played it on my PC and the 59 second mark is where the song actually is (listening to the lyrics) at that point in the song. It's NOT at the end of the song.

I've tried ES Media Player, Google Play Music, Sound Player, double Twist and a couple others whose names I don't remember.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks.

Can't say I really ever encountered the problem your describing. However, The best and only advice I can offer is my personal experiences with music players.

In my opinion, PowerAmp is hands down the most complete and professional player I've used. I have never had 1 issue with PA, and would recommend it to anyone. They do offer a full feature 15 day free trial, So maybe give it a shot if you haven't already?

I hope you find one that works.

Good Luck!
