Unless you see things acting up or being buggy, I'd say no. Doing a FDR with the stock recovery wipe EVERYTHING (contacts, apps backed up through Google, but not data).
There are apps out there like Helium that can help you transition; but like I said, I didn't reset and have yet to see any issues (more like improvements
