Hey guys. My phone has been acting strange for a couple weeks now. The most noticeable is my battery's charge. I will put it on the charger and have a full charge but when I use the phone I will be using it for maybe 10 minutes and suddenly my phone is shutting off. When I turn it back on it says the battery is dead.

Along with that I am getting strange reboots and sometimes it just refuses to even turn on. It will shut down and when I turn it back on it will get to the ATT screen and just shut right back off again. I know batteries can go bad but it has never happened to me. I am my wife have accidently stepped on the charging cord making the phone tumble to the floor.

A fall of about 2 feet. This has happened twice. So, now that I got that all out of the way, what would you guys guess as to be the problem? Battery or I damaged the charging port?

Hi, I seem to be having this same issue with my phone too where it will say it is charged and then use it for like 10 minutes and then it just shut down and say it is dead and when I try to reboot it just shut down again. I also think I have a charging port issue were I try to connect my charger and it will make the connect tone and say it charging and then it make the tone again and not charge it. So it is a off and on type of thing just very frustrating. I thought that it was the USB cable went bad, but now I think it is the battery and the charging port. I have also had this phone of mine replaced twice so.

May I ask were you bought the charging port and the battery at for under$20? I assume after you replaced both of these that your phone has no more issues?
