Root [Team Osiris][ROM][Beta] Unofficial CM11

DimBulb: you can check your messages in cm11 by calling your phone number. May save you a bunch of 5 minute intervals ;)

Now SEE? That's what I'm talking about.

I'm pushing a broom, and helping clean up in the garage, while Super and all the other developers are huddled around that V12, watching the numbers, and jazzed at the tweaks they make to crank out 800 horsepower.

Thanks. ;)

If you want visual voicemail try youmail it works great and it's free:D

I have not tried youmail, but i was under the impression it required your carrier to allow conditional call forwarding. Boost does not allow this, which is why i am not using google voice for voicemail.

edit: just installed youmail and it said unable to get the code from carrier. It did not work.

edit2: here is what the website says about my youmail account

"Boost Mobile (CDMA) does not support 'Conditional Call Forwarding', which includes the Busy, No Answer, Unreachable Transfer conditions.
Please call Boost Mobile (CDMA) at (866) 402-7366 and ask them to add this feature.
You can also consider switching to prepaid carriers that do support this feature, such as Zact or Red Pocket Mobile."

Super,

Did you by any chance go into "Community greeting's" while you were checking that app out? There simply hilarious, not anything I expected.

I installed it, but held back on activating just wanted to check it out.

I did not check out the community greetings lol. I did however follow youmail's advice and called boost. They told me it is not possible. I also chatted online with youmail and they said it's not possible.

Summary: Youmail does not work with Boost Mobile or our cm11 :(

edit: This is despite the fact that their website says it is fully supported.

hey superR you ever try a theme i wanted to see if anyone is having the same issue i was having...(android.process.media has stopped on reboot)....where is the internal sd card located now it seems to have changed maybe that is the problem i'm having.

Never tried a theme. I like the stock android look the best.

There is something different with the sdcard. On stock rom, plugging my device in mounted phone and sdcard. On cm11, it only mounts sdcard. I believe we no longer have an internal sdcard, which i like better personally. I am not sure how this would affect themes, unless the theme is trying to write to the internal sdcard that does not exist.

yeah im starting to think that could possibly be it bc i literally tried everything (even though some reported with no problems), and yeah i got sick of the themes pretty fast, and i also enjoy stock android. I just was hoping they worked once i get sick of stock again lol...I heard that the cm11 swapped the numbers between internal and external cards but not got rid of the internal completely...o-well all is well thanks for your reply

I noticed that the PC no longer showed the phone and SD card, just the SD card too.

Another oddity, I can't explain, in recovery last week, I did a format SD Card, for the first time, (since I was going to install a new 32GB Toshiba SD card). The phone told me (in recovery) that there was nothing to restore or anything, it had been wiped ... right?

So, since than, I picked up a SD Card reader/writer, and USB connected that, to the PC, guess what? The PC, tells me the card is completely intact. Nothings been deleted, or wiped.

So, the formatting, while in recovery, was perceived as having taken place, but not really?

That is strange, i actually formatted in cwm recovery the other day and it did in fact format the sd card i verified it on my laptop. So that sounds quite strange there.

Hey Money,

I ran across a download, and wondered if it would be useful to you (or anyone else) for theme's, (instead of turning off de-bugging like your doing).

In Exposed Framework, in downloads, it's called Ex Themner 2 (a warehouse of Android SApplication Themes) it allows you to theme you android on the go.

I may be over my head, as I haven't done any theme's, and maybe you've tried this, if so Oh well, no harm done.

There's another called Bypass Exchange Security for AOSP based ROMS, that says it allows you to bypass exchange e-mail policies, ... does that have any relevance to the issue's that CWM 11 has do you think?

xposed xtheme engine is way better with HueX themes. Exthemer is very limited.

I'm about done theming lol and i don't think the debugging cured my problem it did for a while (after i shut it off it rebooted no problems longer then it has before) but then it popped back up, I like the themes at first and then i get sick of them so i will probably just stick with system for a while....I believe i did try the xthemer module but don't think i got anywhere with it, maybe i will check it out again. I just like to tinker with things constantly lmao
