Google play services sucking battery.

Define "quickly"? Spread over how many hours/days? What else shows up on battery usage graph?
have you rebooted?

After waking up in the morning, the battery had drained 19%. Before sleeping, i even turned the Wifi off.
Play services was taking 84%
Android system using 9%
Screen was 3%
Phone idle was the rest.

Today Google services is taking 56%

And yes, I've tried rebooting. It disappears for a while, then randomly pops up again.
With light usage, I get no more than 1hr 10 minutes of screen time.

I've read about this issue for months. Just google it and you'll see how long. You can try turning off location services. If you keep them on, you can go into battery>google play services>location>mode and change to power saving.
If that doesn't help, try force stop and then reboot. Uninstalling updates might help. I had the problem once but can't remember which solution worked.

What version of play services do you see? (settings/apps/all)? I know that about a month or so ago, there was an issue with the play services that would drain battery often, but that was fixed after google updated their play services - I'm pretty certain you have the later one (4.1.31 or later) by now, but no harm in checking.

Are you rooted? And if so, what ROM/kernel are you using?

In Location (settings/location), what mode is it set to? Battery saving? or high accuracy? or device only? Set to Battery saving (and activate high accuracy when you actually need it - typically for navigation. Most other apps can manage with Battery saving just fine)

For future reference, here's what you should track/provide.
When was the battery fully charged, and disconnected from charger? How many hours have passed since you disconnected from charger? What is current battery level? And what apps/services used up what percentage of battery in that duration. for screen on time, and the other large battery users, what was awake time?
If you are rooted, BBS stats can certainly help you determine wakelocks
