WORLD'S BIGGEST GALAXY S3 BATTERY- ZeroLemon 7000mAh Battery w/Review- add CBA result

Had this battery for 9 months now and seems im having some issues. The batterylife is still great but charging time is way longer. When my phone is on and charging it shows up as 100% but after you unplug it it goes instatnly to 72%. Doest do a full charge when its on but when the phone is off its fine. Was thinking of gettinga new onw but might upgrade soon anyway so yeah...

You say when your phone is on and charging is shows up as 100%, but drops to 72% when you unplug it from the charger?

Try this. Don't remove the charger as soon as it reaches 100%. Wait for the green led. This might take a few more hours.

My 7000mAh battery usually charges from 20% to full in about 4 hours or so, but I leave it plugged in longer until the battery-full indicator comes on (green led). It does not drop at all when I unplug it from the charger. You might need to clear any other notifications then turn off the screen before you see the green led.

Of course my battery is relatively new so I might experience the same thing you do later.

Got the ZL 7000 mAh battery with the Zerolemon Midnight Black / Viper Black Zero Shock Series for Samsung Galaxy S3 S III I9300 - Covers All Battery Sizes - Worlds Onl

It is a VERY similar look and feel as the Otterbox defender...with one exception...the screen protector (IMO) is junk; responsive and smooth it is not. Took that right off. I'm not a fan of screen protectors anyway.

Re: bulkiness...like I said...it is very similar to the Otterbox Defender...with a LITTLE more weight. IMO its not all that intrusive.

Giving this baby a full charge and will cycle through as the vendor recommends. I'll post an "after-action" report. :D

I'll watch out for that green LED point and verify that it is indeed true for my device as well.

Going to run un-Greenifed; BT/GPS/Wifi all on. I'll still toggle mobile data for S&Gs and because I've at home wifi very good wifi %90 of the time. Also running Google Now Launcher w/XGELS with all the voice activation whistles. Xposed Wanam and multi-window manager on there too.

I've had my ZeroLemon 7000mAh battey for almost four month now and I'm averaging over three days per full charge! I would say I'm super satisfied. Of course I can go through the battery faster if I watch Netflix for hours on end, but with normal use I can go three days before needing to recharge. It's very nice to be able to watch Netflix or Facebook or You Tube videos away from your home or car WITH THE SCREEN BRIGHTNESS TURNED UP and not have to worry about running out of power.Screenshot_2014-05-30-11-52-16.jpg

Wow, I would love to have a battery with this capacity. I could finally go over 6 hours without needing a charge. Going to look at the review now. I assume it doesn't support NFC but that isn't too important. The only thing that turns me away from bigger batteries is that they are bigger requiring a bulkier case. But all in all I think it would be worth it. The 2100 mah stock battery just isn't enough for me at all.

Use this battery while long distance offshore kayak fishing, sometimes I just leave it on for a few days and it typically lasts 4 days with normal use after a year old. Great battery, never had to do anything outside of the norm-conditioning.

Only issue with this battery is like others have with the SGS3 and the wifi signal being weaker than the oem single battery. I've tested both batteries from the backyard @50ft & my garage @45ft, stock battery with the Nighthawk wifi nets full bars both locations and only 1-2 bars with the zero.

Other than that it's a decent battery.

I never noticed any loss of wi-fi signal with this battery, but I would have to check more closely using something like "Wi-fi Analyzer" or "Network Signal Info". I use wi-fi at home and it seems to be the same as before. I did notice that my 3G reception seems to be better. Go figure!
I've had the Zerolemon 7000mAH battery for 6 months now and couldn't be happier! I can stream internet radio all day at work (yes, 8 hours straight without logging off) and still have over 65% remaining when I get home.

just a quick note to say I am loving my Zerolimon battery. I have both the 'skin' case and the otterbox-knock-off case, and swap back and forth between the cases. I use my phone a lot. I normally had to have my old stock battery on the charger by lunch. The zerolemon battery has more than enough juice to last a full day with some left over.

My only issue is that it only gets 6-7 hours charge time each night, and that is often not enough to top the battery off back to 100%. If I manage to kill the battery down to <10% it will only have 60-70% charge in the morning. As others have noted, it will say 100%, but within minutes of unplugging it will be down to 60% or so... Also, if it gets low, I will use my tablet charging brick to give the battery a bit of extra juice overnight.

Overall, I love the battery.

I have the same battery. Try this... before you start to charge your battery, first kill all your running apps by holding down the home button until the task manager pops up, then tap the 'x' in the bottom, right corner. I found that this helps my phone charge faster.

Also while you are charging, look at the battery statistics next to where it shows the percentage (settings/more/battery). If it is plugged into the charger, it should say "Charging A/C". If it says "Charging USB", then it will charge much slower. On my GS3, it showed "Charging USB" even though I had it plugged into an A/C charger. I found that the stock cable that plugged into the stock power supply was bad. I had to use my old GS2 cable to achieve "Charging A/C" status.

I have never had my battery drop from 100% to 60% soon after I unplug the charger. To prevent this from happening, after the battery reaches 100%, I leave it on the charger longer, until the notification come up saying that the battery is fully charged. This might be another hour or so. Today my phone has been on all day (8 hours) streaming internet radio, and I still have 79% remaining.

Good tip, I'll check this. I have 3-4 different USB cables I use, with several bricks. Generic USB cables will charge slower, I have notices, while USB's that I got with a phone (including a few Moto cables) charge faster. Which brick you use also makes a difference. iPhone/iPad bricks will charge very slow, often with the red X on the battery, go figure.

While I agree with most of what your are saying (the phone needs more charge) when I need to go, I need to go with my phone. There is no 'one more hour' when leaving to go to work... But by phone will land on my truck charger, when I see it bounce down like this.

Overall, though, these are very minor issues, compared to benifit of the huge battery life this battery gives.

Just found this thread and was curious if anyone at this point has any knowledge of any wallet stand cases that will fit. All I can find are cases that snap onto the back of the phone. I had something like this in mind : http://www.amazon.com/Thousand-Samsung-Galaxy-Wallet-Protector/dp/B00LH6DTA4/ref=sr_1_20?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1421796140&sr=1-20&keywords=galaxy s3 wallet
I really really really doubt that there is a wallet case for this. IMHO the only way to go is to get the 7000 battery and drop the extra $20 on the crazy hardcore case they sell.

I hv been using this battery for 2 years very satisfied user.

Alternatively folks can simply buy a power bank and strap it to their case. Ugly as hell but sure gets the job done.
