when i had the sequent i bypasses the throttle limit and was doing 20+ gb a month.
i switched to the 4g and found it wasnt as easy to find a way.
i have however found a way to temporarily get data speeds back after being throttled but it was so much of a hassle its not even worth it.

apparently boost is going to extreme now and will not just throttle me at .33mbs but theyre going to knock me down to 2g speeds which is far worse
please tell me that someone else received the same text as me so more people will get pissed at boost mobile
i mean to promise unlimited data and cap it off at 2.5 then throttle it down to .33mbs is one thing. i will still be avle to go on the internet and send pics and videos... but 2g speeds? what can i do with that? look at html code at best..

when i find out how to bypass this throttle.. i will set my phone up where its constantly uploading and downloading the same thing over. and over. and over again. and i will use 100gb of data in a couple of days. if they kick me off. they kick me off. if they dont then i will just keep doing it.

i had boost for a very long time and this is bs.

I got this same text, and I barely use data so it is going out to everyone.

I certainly understand your frustration. However, it seems that doing the very thing that makes them change rules like this in the first place could easily make things worse, not better. If we continue bypassing the throttle they will likely continue to retaliate and eventually make things really bad for us. Just my 2 cents :)

i understand where your coming from but i had boost before they throttled. i was happy with my data. never over used anything. then they caped it at 2.5gb and that made me mad at the time. because its really not that much if you like watching youtube or netflix on your phone. and now this.

what boost mobile just did was cut off our internet past 2.5gb
and trying to sugar coat things by saying its 2g. 2g is worse than dial up. you cant do anything with 2g. its like .03mb/s

Agree, they told me 55 unlimited data then that's what I should get and expect to have.
