Help Battery dropping with little/no usage

Going to "battery" it tells me that Android OS is using 45% of the power.

This cannot be right.

Please advise/help.

Thanks

The percentage detail in the Battery setting doesn't mean percentage of the entire battery. It means percentage of the battery which has been used.

For example if you relate it to the power used from a light in a room in your house. You go into the Kitchen and switch the light on for 5 minutes and then switch the light off and walk out.

After you leave the Kitchen someone else goes in there and switches the light on for another 5 minutes while they get something to eat. They then leave and switch the light off.

The total power used from the light being switched on was very small, but of that small amount used, you caused 50% of the power drain because you used half of the power which has just been used.

So your battery might have 98% left but "Android OS" used 45% of the 2% battery drain over 2 hours for example, which is normal when your screen is turned off.

Recently Clean Master.

I have something called ELM, can't uninstall or even stop it.
Don't know what it is, where it came from, what it's doing.

ELM Agent is a background process that cannot be removed.

When I did my Note 3 update my battery began draining faster than I could say boo. It seems (in my case) it was related to data.

I turned off (unchecked) mobile data for a few hours & also used that opportunity to uninstall apps I didn't need & the battery drain stopped.
