Root [DISCONTINUED] SimplicityXL {Updated 5/17/14}

Me too it's just stock recovery with no options to load zips.I used 2nd at initial root but it wiped it out.

Use 2nd init recovery to install pg cwm from my guide.

I am using 2nd init recovery. I have read all your posts and tried to go into CWM to install pg CWM, but the only option I have is android recovery.

Read and follow everything in this thread, of course skip the root part because you are already rooted. follow the instructions on how to install PG-CWM http://androidforums.com/lg-optimus-f7-all-things-root/829374-root-cwm-optimus-f7-fx1.html

I was being throttled before I updated, now it's back to normal speed, wwill sew how long this goes on for.. Just one problem... My YouTube app is not working, I uninstalled It and tryed again but no go it just crashes instead of opening

Just flashed the newest version. Is anyone having issues with the camera app, or any other app for that matter, not activating the camera? It worked once then i tried to open a google hangout session i got a camera error message and it hasnt worked since.

I been going thru this as well and they didnt understand but wat i did was reinstall z4 stock, then upgrade to z5, then root with framaroot,and use 2nd int and download cwm, download root browser, and delete ur own bloatware, there is a kit kat theme for the lghome launcher that is great, or download simplicity with cwm, watever u want but thats wat has to be down.

nope. camera works perfectly fine (using aosp camera.)
question: did you wipe data before flashing the update?

i am grateful you made this rom but i have a question why wont the overclock stay overclocked it drops down after a while i have tried reflashing and tried using setcpu instead of voltage and nothing works even tho i have it set to boot thanks for your time

lol thats how your phone is, every phone clocks down with you're not using it, when it registers your touch and sense that you need more power it will ramp up your CPU clock to the max that you set it to. if you want it to stay at overclock your value at all times, open the Voltage Control app and select smartassv2 or performance as your Governor. Beware, your battery life just gotten shorten by a lot.

That still didn't work. I usually have 2 wallpapers. One for the desktop and one for my lockscreen. It uses my same desktop wallpaper for the lockscreen and it won't lemme change it even tho it says wallpaper changed.

Yes because the wallpaper for lockscreen only works with LG Lockscreen.

No idea lol, find a black image download it and set it as your wallpaper.
