Go with the UAG, less bulk and same protection.

Unless you want to buy me a black UAG case for my Note 3, I have no need for one because I already have the Slate Blue UAG. I really don't want to buy another one.

Nevertheless, I am interested in the Otterbox Defender. It has nothing to do with "better/same protection for the dollar" or how cool the UAG looks (without a doubt it's one of the best looking cases out there IMO). I am simply interested in the Defender.

So again, can anyone comment if the outer rubber shell on their Note 3 OtterBox Defender has stretched out? Thanks.

Tiny bit of stretching because of the way my car mount squeezes the phone at the bottom. Otherwise holding up pretty good.

I have the Spigen Neo Hybrid case on. Supposed to protect the phone well, never dropped my phone though so couldn't confirm how well ;-). Also have a tempered glass screen protector on which appears to offer more protection than a standard plastic one, not to mention the screen is much brighter :)

Depends how much protection you need for your phone? I think with the second image you've posted of the blue case, that acts similar to the official Samsung flip cases? It looks like it doesn't protect the sides of the phone and I know from experience that's not a good thing :p - back on the S3 flip case is slippy so when I moved my table my partners phone slipped and hit the leg, of course it was on the side where the case didn't protect and left a dent and that was no more than 3 feet.

I used a sleeve case for years with my Galaxy S2 before getting the Note 3. I loved the sleeve case because it protected the phone well, yet when I take the phone out of the sleeve the phone is not encumbered by a clumsy case that gets in my way and makes it not fit in my pocket.

When I got the Note 3 the first thing I did was shop for a sleeve case for it. I found it on eBay:

The seller shipped it immediately, although it still took six days to get here from China. The cost was all of US $2.82. You can keep your overpriced cases; I'm very happy with my little sleeve case.

I need a sturdy 'slim profile' case that fits in the desktop charger. I use my Note 3 as my clock-calendar-weather display in my bedroom. I got the S View last week. Nice looking case (cover) that makes your device look elegant or professional. The S View 'window' is very 'cool' and has some functionality as you might know. You can access your camera, action memo, and music without flipping the cover and opening your device. 'However' the disappointing thing is that cool desktop animation that shows when your device is docked does NOT when you are using the S View. You need to find a way to keep the lid open so the desktop animation kicks in. Not practical.
The Spigen Neo Hybrid looks very good.
Does anyone here know if it enables smooth docking?

Spigen Neo Hybrid looks amazing the

URBAN ARMOR GEAR it looks ok

Spigen Bounce case i did not like it

for now i am thinking of getting the Spigen Neo Hybrid case

has anyone got the Spigen SGP Slim Armor case

I assume you mean the one without the front view cover?
I don't have it for the Note 3 but, I did have the Slim Armor and Neo Hybrid for my iPhone 5 and much preferred the Neo which is why I chose that for the Note 3. I liked that the Neo covers all the corners where as the Armor didn't.
I am tempted to get the Slim Armor View case though and see how I like that as it looks like it offers up the most protection of the Spigen cases available (that I've seen).
I wasn't sure about the Bounce case, there was something I liked about it but, at the end of the day it's just an expensive gel case imo :p so I didn't get it.
Think the Urban Armor Gear is supposed to offer more protection than the Spigen Neo/Armor but, I personally think it looks horrendous lol. I know I couldn't have it on my phone anyway.

No best case for everybody. We all have our preferences. I find the hardened glass my first priority. I'm using the Spigen now because when I got it it was the best option. I want edge protection for when (not if) I drop it. I have the Otterbox Defender on since they first went on sale for Note 3. It adds some bulk but I want that protection when I finally screw up and drop it. It provides grip when I hold it which I do alot. It still fits in my iOttie dashmout and can still take a plugged in charger. I don't use a desk mount so I can't comment on that. Otterbox is expensive but I'm willing to pay for assurance that when my beloved Note 3 takes a six foot tumble onto asphalt it's going to have the best protection I can give it.
