Help - download of 4Gb from Play

Reading through the reviews, you can't install this to an SD Card, only internal memory is available. Do you have 4GB free?

Also it could be that your wifi is dropping out and preventing the big download...

Yeh it's an offline version of Wikipedia, which is huge for a single APK download that can only use internal storage.

Think it would be better if the devs made the app APK itself separate from the Wiki data. So it's a small APK you download from Play, which can then download the Wiki data and store it separately on the SD card. Along with a way of resuming the download in the event of interruption. Which is something Play itself doesn't do. If an app download from Play is interrupted or aborted, there's no way to resume it. It's got to start over.

The way they've done it is not very convenient or efficient for updates either, because for every update however minor, it's got to download the whole 3.5GB again. And Wikipedia is always receiving updates, changes, corrections etc.

Could be worth putting these points and suggestions to the app devs?

Even at 3.5GB, that's only about half of the English Wikipedia anyway, and some of the reviews indicate the included content hasn't been updated in over a year.
