I've seen that series. Would have been nice if it didn't end in a cliffhanger like several others.

Yesterday, I also watched the first episode Soul Eater Not!: a spinoff of Soul Eater. Not sure what to make of it though. They should have just made a second season of Soul Eater.

I just got a tip about this anime from another website that I frequent. It's called No Game No Life.

Synopsis
The story of No Game, No Life centers around Sora and Shiro, a brother and sister whose reputations as brilliant NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) hikikomori (shut-in) gamers have spawned urban legends all over the Internet. These two gamers even consider the real world as just another "crappy game." One day, they are summoned by a boy named "God" to an alternate world. There, God has prohibited war and declared this to be a world where "everything is decided by games"

There is a sequel to Soul Eater coming soon.

I would love for a true sequel to come out for soul eater but the fake ANN link was a April's fool joke and I've only heard about the soul eater not spin off...the anime strayed for like 20 episodes or so...the manga is done now but it would have to be a full remake and I doubt they will...but oh how I miss Maka and Soul such a great team...plus Death FTW...

I wish. Mrs. Spec would only watch Death Note with me a ways back, and she totally loved it, mostly cuz of Ryuk haha. If she wasn't so enamored of James Spader and the Pawn Star boys I'd probably be able to pull her into SAO ;)

SAO isn't a long series got my GF to watch it...If you can get her to watch the first 2 episodes she will be hooked and it's like half as long as death note...and the last third isn't nearly as good as the rest...the whole elf game thing was a let down IMO

Are there any genres that interest you? Sci-fi, comedy, action, etc etc?

It's easily my favorite or if not, it's right up there. The new series started 2011 and is going strong.

First time I watched Casshern Sins I thought it was primitive. It
