Are you sure you have contacts saved to "phone" ie only on your phone and not google synced contacts?

I have nothing saved to Google.

I have old contacts on my SIM and a newer set of contacts on then internal storage of my Smartphone.
I want to wipe all contacts on my SIM and (later) copy all contacts
from my mobilphone storgae to SIM.
Thats all.

All I need is a "delete all contacts on SIM" function

See we didn't know that, we thought you needed something different than that https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=diewland.testing.phone you will need that app because its blocked on moto g that will bypass it, go to phone information and push the three dots you will see view sim address book ..after that I don't know..because I have no contacts on my sim card..

Roger

This worked like a charm! I got all kinds of B.S. answers to this question online, but girolez solved it nice & simply with this procedure for my Pantech Burst with AT&T contacts.

The bloatware on this phone sucks--I wish there was a simple way to root it, so I could get rid of all the unwanted garbage.

Can anyone suggest a root method that is truly step-by-step, and the directions don't have any "do this" with no explanation. I mean exactly every step spelled out?

TIA.
