Hello!

Unbricked mine yesterday AML8726-M1 (m1ref) ... some steps in order.

1) Diagnose problem (check for ttl console port on board and use GSM cable)
2) Did you made backup or did you have update.zip from manufacturer ?
3) Try SDtool for win XP an make a bootable sdcard
4) Try Flashtool with male to male USB cable and Amlogic adb driver
5) Recover boot.img using u-boot HUSH shell (TTL2USB cable and SDcard)

Only the last one worked for me, will put a tutorial with pictures soon.
