If you are willing to show me where the sources are I can compile, I have 450 gb free on my hdd. Android build tools, git, etc all ready to go. Already built a couple roms for the s3 so just need to know where all the sources are, build script etc.

This phone still has alot of life still. Just got Aokp 4.4.2 compiled and booted. Cm11 is next.

My offline charging doesn't work, and was wandering if there's a way to get back the data traffic arrows the ICS and jb ROMs had?

Yes and if you still can/want, yes. I'm using a laptop hard drive right now until I get a charger for it soon then it has to get back into the laptop.

Offline charger doesn't work anymore because I stopped using a prebuilt init binary in the ramdisk. lg embedded some code to make offline charging run from there. I think giantpune had something to fix it in the cm7 tree he has. About the network activity arrows. I don't know if you can get then back. Maybe aokp has a option for that.

The kernel still has that support. Of I remember the program is called instavolt.

It doesn't seem to be working it shows nothing in the check current VDD and always gives some kind of a error for a path.

@phenom, anyway to get the mute button to work while in a call? And when I open an incognito browser window I keep getting the cookies are not enabled error s.

Go on the play store and download 8Sms. That's what I use and its an actual original kitkat messaging application.

8SMS is a messaging app, I believe. GTalk is a chat service - which I don't use a lot but prefer over Hangouts.

Ok, from previous KitKat builds on other devices I can tell you how to fix that. If you go to your apps list, go to all, and disable Media Process (sometimes the DRM as well), after that is disabled flash a Micro Gapps package for 4.4. Now you should be able to run ART mode if you so desire.
Now that I have my own computer again, I am extremely interested in being more active in the community!

Just wanna say, I don't have this phone anymore. But honestly from what I've seen and what happened when I had the phone, I just really gotta say Phenom came outta no where and made things happen over here while otherwise development may have slowed or stopped. He has been one of the most patient and dedicated devs I've witnessed. Always super calm and respectful and quick with responses particularly about ETAs (which we all know is naught, naughty to ask about) Anyhow, I'm just stating what I feel is a well deserved rant. I think it's awesome that Kitkat is on that phone. We're trying to iron out some kinks over here on the ZTE Awe. It's on virgins network if any of you wanna come on over. The display is pretty nice and it's dual core but like any phone it has its quarks. Not to bad of an upgrade for its price though....... Give it up for Phenom guys he's done really Awesome.
