Root [AT&T] AT&T N3 rooted at last!

I am the same.. years and years of without needing to use insurance

last year.. with my Samsung S3..
small drop to wood floor.. shattered screen.
fixed it at $150...
week later.. jumped into thigh high river.. to help get a boat on to the trailer.
with my phone in my pocket.

so.. the orginal OS.. is still on the system... taking up memory.
safestrap creates ROM memory virtual space (slots).. taking up memory.
you can create 1 or many ROM memory slots... as you want.
using safestrap, you can dictate which slot (only 1 at time) is active for the phone to use.. the rest are in active.

the orginial OS/ROM is still in the same spot.. so to the lock/counter.. it looks like the phone has never been changed... warranty is good.

you can have many ROMs on the phone.. example 10.

so.. how big are these memory slots??
what are the negatives with doing this.. other than loss of memory usage to the slots?
stable? speed loss?

First you are limited to 4 slots. Also, they only use 4-5 GB of sd card space. The only Rom using any memory is the active slot. The best part about SafeStrap is you leave the Stock Rom intact for warranty purposes. I was amazed how simple this was.

I was referring to storage memory.. not RAM.

so the original ROM is there.. then you add in slots and ROMs in each.
that just takes up storage space.

All I see in this thread is a bunch of people asking if you can root the Note 3 N900A, and others replying no. I have looked all over, and there does not appear to be a way to root this phone with this baseband. Kingo also has a statement on their sight that says they don't have any plans on working on a root for 4.4.2 on the N900A as it involves so much work to get around Knox. They plan on working again when the next iteration of Android is released. Maybe another dev will figure out a way, but for now, I think the answer will continue to be no, you can't do it.
