Hi all,

I know this phone is getting pretty long in the tooth, but I hope there are still a few people hanging around.

I've been using Nils ICS Business Sense 4 v2.11 for a while now, but I find it laggy and the camera crashes occasionally. I've tried wiping the cache and davlik cache, done a full wipe and re-install, but the same issues returned.

At this point I would really like to just get back to stock rooted. I tried running the 3.14.605.12 RUU but that failed and wouldn't install. Can someone give me an outline of the steps to get back to stock rooted or even just stock?

I am currently S-On, Unlocked, with Amon Ra recovery v3.16 and on Nils ICS Business Sense 4 v2.11 rom.

I have the OTA-Global-Stock-4.05.605.14 710RD-Rooted.zip from XDA. Do I just simply place that on my SD card and install it from recovery? Do I need to re-install a specific kernel, and if so how and which one?

Thanks in advance!

sure, you can flash a rooted rom in recovery to be rotoed stock, but without a link im not sure if thats what youre refering to(tho i would assume that it is)

since you are allready unlocked and rooted, you might go ahead and get s off,so you can run the older ruu and then OTA to current.

you no longer need to do the "wire trick" with the previous tool that you may have heard storeis about. you can now use rumrunner, wich is just a program that you run on the PC.

holler if you have questions :)
