This is the way it's always going to be with this phone unless a fully working CWM recovery is made for it which most likely will never happen.

my recovery works fine if you dont boot from power off.

Any idea if it works with quick boot? Or should it only be used with F6Utilities? I've only used it with button combo from power off.

the f6 utilities app is just a shell execution of the command of "su -c reboot recovery" so, yes any other app will work. its not the recovery that formats the /data partition, its aboot. so cwm cant do anything about it

Is there any chance of incorporating the SD Memeory fix into the Freedom Kernel since the only working memory fix only works with stock phones?

It's not stock phones it's my custom kernel. The only thing freedom had that's not in mine is over clock.

I added some other things besides overclock that your kernel doesn't have.

I'll see. I'm experimenting with something else.

In the meantime, this works just fine...

Has anybody tried wifi tether after installing this kernal.. it doesnt seem to work using the wifi tether app & android tuner method. Anyone else can give it a try n see if they can tether.

If this were a rom with wifi tweaks and build prop tweaks then maybe, but this is a kernel that has nothing to do with wifi tether.

I use foxfi and it works for me.

So.... found out if you install this over the 12b update the knock on feature works to turn the screen off but not on

Well my phone does not root on the new 12b update so I'm on complete stock kernel and that knock on crap still doesn't turn on my screen. So I doubt it's kernel related.

LG's silly update was just to bait us so they can lock down our devices even more. LG can kiss my a$$! :mad:
