Yeah, not sure..maybe it has to do with the data transfer :dontknow:
Have you tried it again with the "usb debugging" enabled?

thanks. i didnt try it again. because the new owners has the phone. but i already talk to her that i will try to do it again tom. hope that will solve the problem. finger cross. let you know by tom. sir.

If you're not under contract anymore with that device you can call your carrier to have it unlocked for use on another carrier

it was unlocked already. by downgrading to 4.1.1 but phone status now is modifies. cant upgrade firmware anymore

From reading looks like you're sol once Knox is tripped at the moment there's no going back. Others have tried to no avail, see below

Downgrade from 4.3 to 4.1.2

OMG. that was a very big mistake on my part by downgrading it, and tripping the useless knox! i guess my note 2 will be stay on 4.1.1 forever! now i am losing hope now. i really appreciate youre help guys. and giving some time to research.

It can still be flashed to 4.3 ~as I have previously rooted 4.3, downgraded from 4.3 to 4.1, flashed custom roms, tripped Knox, and again reflashed to 4.3...Although there is no possibility of resetting the Knox counter the status and binary will go back to official.

What's the model #? I will see what I can find for you.

That's not the issue, want's the device unlocked so it can be used on another carrier, and the fact that the device is not rooted is not helping matters

and then downgraded made matters even worst.

thanks. maybe we can try to root it maybe it can help? i really dont care about the knox if its gonna tripped or not. let me know if you find any answer.

I believe you can still root it using the Toolkit, but u still have the issue of unlocking the bootloader, I would post in the thread in the toolkit and see if Skip or one of the advanced members there can shed more light. thanks a lot. yes that would be fine as long as the phone will get to the latest firmware and im good with it.

You will also find info on how to root through cf auto-root and instructions for unlocking once you are back on 4.3, if that's what you choose to do.

thanks, i can still root my phone even though i cant update it thru OTA? yes, maybe i will try to root it, and start from there any maybe i can unroot it again and update OTA again? so what is the first thing i need to do to root it? thanks
