Help Gallery question & issue with Docs to go

In both my S3 & S4 I was able to label a picture in my gallery from any one of my albums a favorite picture making it easier to find a picture i wanted. I can't seem to find that option in my S5. Is this feature gone?

Also, I cannot open any type document files on my phone. I was able to open files on my S4 and I haven't changed the Microsoft Office program I use to normally create or edit files. I keep getting the error THIS FILE CANNOT BE OPENED BECAUSE IT IS NOT A VALID MS WORD 97-2011 FILE. This error happens with word, ppt, & excel files I try to open. Anyone else get this error. Thanks in advance

So apparently this is an issue due to changes that Google made to the SD card permissions in Android 4.4. Docs to go admits it, but obviously hasn't publicized it much because it took me a while to find out why it was happening to me. i found a weak ass explanation on their support site but since i'm a newish user, i can't post links. one of their main support questions is about why users can't save to their sd card, that's where you find the gruesome details.

My current workaround is to use Polaris Office which came bundled with my particular phone. With Polaris office, i can still open and edit my files. The option that Docs to Go suggests is to move your documents to the phone's internal storage where apparently it can still access and edit. i'd drop Docs to Go altogether but i do like how they integrated cloud access into the file structure with the last update. So hopefully, they'll get their heads out of their asses and get this fixed.

Just how much "editing" can you do with a small thing like a cellphone and a single thumb keypad?

Way too hard to mess with IMO..... that is what full size keyboards and 24 inch desktop monitors are made for.

My fingers can go 120 wpm on a keyboard.... single taping a phone kybd? PITA
Even the Swype features is not reliable. I am constantly having to backup and repeat words.
