Everything working well so far. Nova launcher runs much smoother than launcher3 and GEL. WiFi/Bluetooth working. Can't test mobile as I use for wifi only. All apps syncing fine. Initial boot took some time but was not longer than expected. All seems to be well so far. Seems to run smoother than cm11 but could be placebo.

Haven't seen any bugs yet. My first AOKP ROM and loving it still trying to get the jist of it. Oh and got my 4g back thank god haha. But working great so far. k just had a i think it was process.media has stopped unexpectedly over and over. would get you a logcat but phone is now dead.

AOKP having trouble with my Spectrum phone. Installed with gapps and fewer apps (whatsapp, Firefox, LG LED notification, Swiftkey Beta). When phone is idling and I saw new email message in status bar. I pull down the bar. It was smooth. Done that multiple times over period and phone after pulling the bar but it did not collapsed and froze phone for about minute. This the problem with stability on Spectrum phone.

Now I know why this happened. I saw notificetion of new IM messages. I leave it. Later time I want to see it - pull down notification. It won't collapse and hung. Then displayed Screen Lock. I know that phone will turn off display in 5 min. I waited only about a minute.

Camera in Glide chat app is half broken. It records front camera but I can't see myself on screen. Taking photos in Glide does not work (it starts recording again).

Video on youtube shows how phone hang with notification bar after idle for hours.

That notification bar issue is not just a AOKP issue either. It's the same thing that is pissing me off with CM when I run for a day without rebooting, or run too many apps in a row.

Hello. I just flashed this with AOKP Gapps. It ran perfectly. It seemed smoother than CM 11. I have been using it for the past eight or nine hours I have had two reboots thus far. Two have been when opening an app. I do not have a logcat and it does not seem to be a large problem. 4G and Wifi work. My power button was beginning to wear out and CM 11 removed the volume unlock feature from CM 10.1.3, so the ability to wake with volume is a welcome addition. A note on Wifi, is anyone else having slower than normal Wifi. My phone's wifi is normally fast, but with this rom, it has been abnormally slow. The Play store gives me a connection timeout error after each search. It works fine with LTE though. I have not had time to test battery because the entire time the phone was downloading apps through Wifi, although slowly.

On a side note, is there any word on when the new AOKP boot animation would be incorporated into AOKP ROMs?

Also, for app management, there are many of the GAPPs that I do not use or use an alternative. Is disabling the system apps a bad policy or does it not matter and it just prevents the app from running.

The aokp boot animation is there it just needs to be set in the product config. I did that with my commits. The next nightly should build spectrum and nitro.

I've been running this for about a week and it's 'semi-stable' but about as bad as CM11 currently is for freezing/restarting. The most common error is the 'status-bar pulldown freeze + crash'

Attached is a log of it freezing in status bar pulldown and a game (clash of clans) but otherwise most everything works, sometimes. Sometimes it freezings in the video mode of camera, sometimes not. Sometimes it freezes in messaging, sometimes not. I can't point to just one thing and says this crashes the launcher consistantly. I see where my CPU temp is hovering around 50C which is quite hot...

No updates is probably because this device is basically dead. Most of us have moved on to better phones. Sad to say.
