Hey guys, I read the sticky at the top and have some questions. I'm looking at these specs for the Z2: http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_z2-6144.php

Now it has the right base GSM bands, but after that it gets a bit weird. It mentions HSDPA and not HSPA+ so does that mean I won't be connecting to the fauxG network? It does list the right frequencies and I've seen conflicting arguments on HSDPA vs HSPA+.

It also mentions the right LTE bands of 1700 and 2100,but it doesn't say aws. I'm not completely sure if that is an issue.

The OPO doesn't list any HSPA+ bands so I'm guessing that's pretty much an LTE and 2G only phone if I try to use it, correct?

Trying to wrap my head around this, thanks in advance for the help guys.

The one with 1.7, 1.9 and 2.1. Will work for 3g and lte. And one plus does have hspa so you are good there

For the OnePlus One, it's designed to be a world phone:

With our OnePlus philosophy in mind, we are aiming to create a phone that could be used anywhere in the world. With the result of many hours of thoughtful consideration, we’ve built the following 3G (WCDMA) bands into the OnePlus One: 1/2/4/5/8 (850/900/1700/1900/2100MHz)

These bands will grant full global coverage with HDSPA+ speeds up to 42Mbps, the OnePlus One would be able to follow you around the globe
