Root Web slower than s**t!

For the past week my internet has been getting slower and now I'm getting more timed out messages than ever. My signal is strong, I can see the tower at 152m away. Did a speed test.net and got 8kb down. 7 up and ping 1,300ms. I called mpcs and they refreshed my phone. No good same speeds. Called again they did a reset where I had to reset my voice mail. No good again. Now they want to send a ticket. Since I'm rooted I'm not sure about that. Anyone have a idea what's going on?
Also I didn't mention this was at 3:00 am when I normally get over 1,000kbs down in my area.

Unroot. Over 1 second ping is worse than 19,200 dial-up. (That's 19kbps.) Either the phone has a MAJOR problem or their tower does. (Are you sure the tower you see has a MPCS antenna face facing you? They may not even be on that tower. Not all towers have all carriers on them.)

And I assume that's 152 meters, not 152 miles. If it's miles, aside from the fact that your horizon isn't that far - for a 300 foot combined altitude (yours plus the tower's, the horizon is only about 21 miles), your phone's transmitter isn't powerful enough, even at 600MHz (the longest range cellphone band) to even tickle the tower's receiver, let alone use it.

Wow, you must be sitting at Starbucks on your 4th jumbo maximo double coffee. Try decaf and don't try to think so much. I agree about the ping but the phone has been rooted 8 months already and my problem started about 1 week. So chill out and try elsewhere for free WiFi that doesn't have caffeine like the library. But you'll need to come down before going there. Remember, chhillll out.

T-Mobile has been playing around with their basesband lately. Have patience it will probably get better before too long. When I was still on metro a while back I was having similar issues until Tmobile fully took over. My download speeds are a little down right now too. Not as bad as yours but nonetheless a bit slower.

Well something's up because yesterday at about 2:00pm when speeds are slower I was getting 975kbs down. I thought they fixed it. Just now I ran another test because I'm getting timed out messages again and getting 9kbs down again. I specifically asked if they were working on the system and said no. This is when I like to do what I do because of faster speeds. It's too peaceful and quiet to waste sleeping.

Try deleting your data usage
(If your rooted) use a file manager/ explorer with root access
1 Go to--> data/system/netstats
2 Delete all the files there
(Optional: Power off phone remove sim, wait a few seconds reinsert sim)
3 Reboot
Recommendations: Install Crossbreeder
Google "crossbreeder xda"
Should say [MOD] Crossbreeder - Lag....

-Others can use this method to reset there data usage without having to do a factory reset for those fresh 4G speeds

Also if your on CM you could add an APN:
Name: MetroPCS
APN: fast-tmobile.com

MMSC: http://metropcs.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc

APN protocol: IPv4/IPv6
APN roaming protocols: IPv4/IPv6
