I currently own a LG Spectrum and have pretty much hated it since day 1. Constantly having problems before the ICS upgrade with texting, keyboard disappearing, delay in response and now it just doens't respond half the time i sue the phone. Im currently not under contract with Verizon and want to upgrade to a S4 or hell even S5 if the price is right. What is the best price for a new unused GS4 for Verizon? I do not want to use the upgrade thru Verizon as it will change my account and they will get rid of my unlimited everything plan. I just want to buy the phone and switch the stuff from my Spectrum over to the GS4 or GS5.

I purchased a contract GS4 about 6 weeks ago and was able to keep my unlimited data by using a quirk in the system when ordering online from Best Buy. I learned about it from people who did it on another forum. I'm not sure if it is still possible but it may be since people have been doing it for awhile. You have to follow the process exactly or you'll end up on Verizon's new service with only 2 gb of data. Even if that happens you have 2 weeks to cancel.

First order the phone on Best Buy's website and have it delivered to your house. You can't do this if you purchase the phone in the store. In the ordering process it may state that you can lose unlimited data but where it ask to choose a plan just check I want to keep my current plan. Do not choose a new plan.

Secondly, this is very important, when the phone arrives DO NOT TURN IT ON. Remove the SIM card that came with the new phone and replace it with the SIM from your old phone. Now you can boot your phone and you will still have the same service on your GS4 as you did on your old phone.

One small issue I had is that the GS4 use a smaller SIM card than my HTC Rezound but I was able to buy a SIM card cutter on Amazon that is like a hole punch that worked perfectly.

This is the screen capture of the page once you click "add to package", are these the same options you had when you ordered?
