Has anybody dropped their Note 3 yet?

I have a cheap iBlason case with a ZAGG Invisishield Glass screen protector and I've dropped my Note 3 on numerous occasions (Frontal face plants, back & side plants, you name it) and I've had no damage to the phone whatsoever.

I remember when I had the Galaxy S4, as soon as I removed the case & screen protector I dropped my phone the very next day and shattered the screen. This is why I always wrap my phones up immediately upon purchase now.

I use to think "fashion" when I bought cases. I recently shattered my Note 2 w/bookcase cover which is why I'm on the NOTE 3 now. This time I covered it with the Otterbox.

How bulky is the otterbox? I haven't had one since the One X and I didn't think to get one for the Note 3 just because of how big the device already is. I work out in the elements so I definitely need a heavy duty case and have been thinking about buying one lately.

Got my phone about 4 months ago, extremely impressed with everything about it but just earlier, out of all the situations, I had my phone in my hand and I was calling on my puppy when I forgot about the phone and dropped it. Luckily it has this flip wallet cover on it but the flip wallet's now ruined. It dropped on its back, the phone with the battery and cards popped from the flip wallet, although it was the bottom right corner of the flip wallet that got all the impact. The bottom right corner has a missing "tooth" so my phone can't lay flat on the case. It's so scary, I've never owned a smartphone before and this experience is negatively nerve wrecking. If it weren't for the flip wallet it would've been really bad.

Please share you experiences with this brilliant phone, I need someone to make me feel better.

Nope. NEVER drop my phone. No one seems to believe me but really all it takes is focus any time you're handeling your phone. Never put it down where it might fall or someone might touch it - NEVER. Never bring it near bodies of water. Never let kids handle it. I love my grandkids but they can play with something else. Whenever taking it out of your pocket/bag or putting it back in, ALWAYS make sure you have a grip on it. Seriously. It really isn't as hard as some people seem to think. Also, it is inherently dangerous to operate it one handed like some people like to do. You can't possibly grip it well if you're using part of your hand/fingers to text or whatever. This leaves you open to getting bumped and dropping it. I hang on to my Note with one hand and do what I need to with the other. No loose grips there.

WOW!!!.... lucky you!!... mine felt from 3ft and all the silver plastic edge chipped mainly on the top and bottom corners... now I'm trying to find a replacement part for it but still can't seem to find a seller that has the front suport frame for my model SM-N900 (UD).... bad luck?...humm :(

my note 3 was dropped (actually swatted) from my hand as i was trying to take a photo... I am 6 foot 1 inch and my arm was extended up as high as i could reach.. ( around 8 foot + ) ... This is with NO PROTECTiVE case---.... the battery and back plate flew off... with no damage to ANY part of the phone.... very impressed----* I also expose my phone to dust, debris, water, mud, plant juices and plenty of dirt etc. and have had great results... no screen scratches, chips, or anything else.....
