BACK STORY: I just switched from the iPhone 5s to the Galaxy S5. I originally started out with Android when smart phones first arrived, and once the iPhone 4 came out, I made the switch. Now, about a month an a half ago, a coworker of mine who was also a die-hard apple fan switched to the Galaxy S4 and he fell in love. After playing with his phone, I fell in love and too decided I would make the switch. With the S5 just around the corner, I decided to preorder it. Now, here are some of my immediate impressions and dislikes of the phone.
PROS: Battery life is amazing, my iPhone would die on me at least once a day but this phone has only died on me twice since I got it on the 14th of April. Very impressive. The display is awesome. I love the size, much easier to watch videos on if you are a YouTube fanatic like myself. The processor is extremely fast, no lag from my experience. Also, the flexibility of downloading apps that iPhone would not allow. Downloading apps from the Apple App Store was such a long and annoying process. The Play store has much more to offer.
CONS (this is some stuff that may be fixable and I need serious help with): The CAMERA. Even on auto settings, some of my pictures look fuzzy and way too sharp. I will show you some that I have taken so that you can all see what I am talking about. Whenever I upload pictures to instagram, it makes them very fuzzy and pixelated. Same issue when I post to twitter. I never had this problem with my iPhone. I would imagine that having twice as many megapixels, I should not be having this problem. Half of the reason I got this phone was for the camera since I take a lot of pictures. This issue still occurs even if I use the built in camera on instagram. The pixelation is not as bad, but it is definitely there. For the most part, it will appear clear in the editing part, and then blur once it is posted.
Please someone help me out with this.
To see my pictures, the most recent ones are the main ones that I am talking about. Instagram and twitter usernames are the same as my username on here. Thanks.
