Help A few complaints...

BACK STORY: I just switched from the iPhone 5s to the Galaxy S5. I originally started out with Android when smart phones first arrived, and once the iPhone 4 came out, I made the switch. Now, about a month an a half ago, a coworker of mine who was also a die-hard apple fan switched to the Galaxy S4 and he fell in love. After playing with his phone, I fell in love and too decided I would make the switch. With the S5 just around the corner, I decided to preorder it. Now, here are some of my immediate impressions and dislikes of the phone.

PROS: Battery life is amazing, my iPhone would die on me at least once a day but this phone has only died on me twice since I got it on the 14th of April. Very impressive. The display is awesome. I love the size, much easier to watch videos on if you are a YouTube fanatic like myself. The processor is extremely fast, no lag from my experience. Also, the flexibility of downloading apps that iPhone would not allow. Downloading apps from the Apple App Store was such a long and annoying process. The Play store has much more to offer.

CONS (this is some stuff that may be fixable and I need serious help with): The CAMERA. Even on auto settings, some of my pictures look fuzzy and way too sharp. I will show you some that I have taken so that you can all see what I am talking about. Whenever I upload pictures to instagram, it makes them very fuzzy and pixelated. Same issue when I post to twitter. I never had this problem with my iPhone. I would imagine that having twice as many megapixels, I should not be having this problem. Half of the reason I got this phone was for the camera since I take a lot of pictures. This issue still occurs even if I use the built in camera on instagram. The pixelation is not as bad, but it is definitely there. For the most part, it will appear clear in the editing part, and then blur once it is posted.

Please someone help me out with this.

To see my pictures, the most recent ones are the main ones that I am talking about. Instagram and twitter usernames are the same as my username on here. Thanks.

It's probably taking pictures at a lower pixel setting than you want, I've heard that the camera defaults to a lower setting to save storage. Root around in the camera settings and you should be able to find it.

If that's not it, your upload options on twitter/isntag are probably doing something similar.

My Battery life has been great also.

Love the camera..

I have been unable to connect to my bluetooth Blue ant Q2. It doesn't even detect the device. Samsung support told me it might not be compatible.

Fingerprint scanner doesn't work for me most of the time.

For the cost of this phone it shouldn't have these glitches

I have the camera set to the highest quality. I have also checked both the instagram and twitter settings. Don't know what it could be, but this is frustrating.

Some picture hosting sites cannot handle the upload of huge images, and when they do, the conversion from the 16 MegaPixel to what they can host is terrible.

Experiment a bit and see how the different Pixel sizes are received on your web sites.

as for battery life, the single worst apps are related to GPS location tracking. If you have a location app turned on and the phone is not on a charger.... say goodbye to long battery life.

I usually charge my phone at night just before going to bed. Normally there will be 25% to 40% battery left the next night.... Not yesterday, I turned on GPS and LocationTracking to get a location I wanted to email to myself and didn't turn it off.... the battery was down to 8% come charging time.

I work out in very rural areas and the phone has to really turn up the transmit power to transfer good data.
