Root [Virgin Mobile] Recovering files from internal?

Does anyone have any suggestions for recovering files from internal storage? I had a bunch of photos there, which got deleted when I flashed CM. I checked out [GUIDE] Internal Memory Data Recovery - Yes We Can! - xda-developers but I'm getting abd errors. I've also tried some apps from the playstore, but nothing has worked so far. Anyone have any suggestions/experience with this?

Dude, that sucks! I honestly don't have a clue how to recover them. But if you are having adb errors, try installing the adb driver for the GS3: http://developer.samsung.com/android/tools-sdks/Samsung-Andorid-USB-Driver-for-Windows

I can only suggest trying Xposed Frameworks to help prevent losing your pictures in the future. There's a module called 'Pictures2SD'. You can find it under 'Download' in Xposed. I think it only works with the stock camera app but it does save your pics to the sdcard.

Sorry you lost your files. Hope you have luck retrieving them.

Thanks, I downloaded and installed the drivers, but I'm not having any more luck. I can't get Cygwin to do any sort of abd command. It keeps telling me that it can't be found. On top of that, I can't get the command prompt to do anything either. It keeps telling me that "access is denied" when I try to change to the directory where abd is at.

This is on an admin account, as well as running the cmd.exe as an admin.

I am not sure, but I think you are also going to need to enable the developer option on cyangenmod, then enable usb debugging. And any cmd windows you have to open should also be ran as admin. you can try to use the "mini-sdk" for adb also http://androidforums.com/attachment...81-adb-guide-updated-2013-05-21-sdk-tools.zip

I've already got USB debugging enabled. Check my previous post. I'm running cmd.exe on an admin account, with it elevated (ran as admin.) Still getting problems.
