Just flashed this, was experiencing some issues with Psycho Billy. Going to take a look at the QSlide apps mod, in a sec. Thanks xclusive.

Yeah, i'm having issues with the system update notification keeps popping up even though I keep turning it off.

I'd update it to work with the LS720ZV6 update but i'm still trying to get the framework files ported over. I'm going to go through each file and going line by line. I'm starting to understand why copying it over directly didn't work.

BIG THANKS for this post!! My new lg f3 wouldn't run Google Play AT ALL! Rooting and flashing this rom allowed me to fix the problem. (needed GAPPS for 4.1.2 flashed.) Now I have everything working, I can get on to "tweeking it" for my own use! Thanks again for all the info & hard work!

It should be working again. It happens now and then, the server crashes. I have it setup to reset it self when it does but it may take a few minutes. Occasionally I have to manually reset it.

No problem at all, except you might wanna double check on your end. Im still getting no connection from dl.litestep whether its the psychobilly links or the stock links. The normal url seems to be working though.

Edit: links confirmed up again

It works for me. It's all on the same server. If one goes down, they all go down. Thats weird it's not working for you. Try rebooting if you can, sounds like your cache hasn't expired.

I can verify that it is working. Connected to it no problem.

Since i rooted and flashed my LG Optimus F3 i can only get the wifi to connect to internet. I have no 3g or 4g or even 1x. I have made sure data is turned on and not sure what else to try to fix this. I have also reflashed the ROM. is there a certain Kernel I need?

NEVERMIND I WILL TRY THE ERROR FIX IN YOUR ORIGINAL POST!!
Updating PRL and the PROFILE fixed my issue thank you!!!

I would stick with the odexed version. It will be quicker than the deodexed version.

To understand the different types, Google odexed vs deodexed. You'll get a better answer than what I can give you.

Is the cwm overclocked kernel listed in the downloads yours? Does it oc only the CPU, or both the CPU and GPU? Does the zip create a backup of the original kernel in case a user wants to swap back?

Curious about this. :

EDIT: Nevermind... figured out that it's robaho's. Guess I'd still have to use adb to restore the original. Nice to see it in a zip file.

Yes. In the stock roms, it's labeled as modem. In the update, it was labeled as radio. Same partition though. It is included in the v7 roms.

If I'm currently running V6 rooted Stock ROM, can I flash the V7 Stock ROM (in second post) and then restore data to get my apps installed under V6? After flashing V7, does the phone need to be rerooted with TowelRoot?

No need to reroot. The ROM is rooted with superuser.

You can restore your data from a backup but It may cause errors. After flashing the new ROM, make a backup of that as well before doing any restore just in case.

Has anyone had any success running v7 with any single or combinations of : Q slide removal, OC, and/or Tether? I have experienced lots of issues in my attempts and this phone is my daily driver now, so I am limiting my general daily routine of wiping and flashing to a weekly event.

I'm using v7 with robaho OC kernel v4. I froze qslide and that appears to have stopped it from appearing. I have the tether app but have not used it since installing v7.

Edit: To clarify I am using the Qslide mod. I have also frozen the Qslide framework. No issues with this scenario.

The qslide removal works with v7, just make sure you follow the directions. Make a backup first in case it doesn't work. It doesn't work for everyone.

i use all these and have no issues

So I have a question. Is there a way to keep all my apps and data if I reflash this? I tried changing the LED color and it didn't work now i have no LED. I have clockwork mod installed. I just recently put that on so could I backup the apps with titanium backup then restore them if have to start over?

Sure, just reflash the one you had already flashed. It will reset the modified files back to default.

As for a backup, you can backup and restore from cwm
