I am not so stupid as you think. The problem is, that android market is full of stupid and fake apps. I need a good application, it may be commercial. I thought that someone here had experience in such things. But as i see none used such apps to monitor android device on google map.

hahaha...

did you even try what I suggested?

it will show you where your phone is .. on google map.. without you installing any extra apps on your phone.

I actually used this once to successfully find my N3 when I thought I'd lost it! I was practically in a panic. Then, using another Android device, I was able to find that my N3 had actually fallen between the driver's seat of my car and the center console, and was hiding there on it's edge, practically invisible because of the black case I have it in. I used the Android device finder to make it start ringing and I still had to look around the area several times as I was listening it to finally realize I was looking right at it. But the main thing was, I hadn't left it back at the restaurant I thought I might have, or dropped it on the ground somewhere back there. I can't described how relived I was :)

that also happened to a friend of mine.. she was so scared... calling to cancel service and info.. she did not have a lock on the phone.

told her to calm down... and showed her the "Device manager" on google.
it was also "lost" in her car.. between the seat and center console.

:p I guess this happens often...

Hello,

i want to use my Galaxy note 3 as a GPS tracking device. There is a lot of stupid and fake programs in android market. Maybe someone is using their android device for the same purpose and can recommend a good application or service?

Thanx

I'm not sure what are you trying to say, but try the stock app that came with your phone "lookout security". If you don't have it, you can always download it at Google play store. It's an app with a green upside down triangle (shield shape) with lines inside it. The app tells you if the apps you have or downloaded is safe. Also, if you set it up with your email, you can locate your phone and take a picture of the person when somebody tries to break in your lock. For example, you lost your phone. Somebody picks it up and attempts to break in it. However, they don't know the passcode. After a few attempts, the lookout security app realizes that too many attempt has been tried. It automatically snaps a photo from the front view camera without the person even knowing. It then emails you the information and location of the last time somebody tried to break in your phone along with the photo of the person. I hope this helps!

I think the problem everyone is having is understanding why you want to track your phone. Is it for in case you lose it, someone steals it, have you lost it already, are you trying to keep track of a child and where he/she is??? I understand the problem with the appstore but no one can really tell you what app to download unless you tell them what you want to use the app for. GPS tracking is pretty broad. I can't help with an app, i do have an app to find my phone, wipe it, lock it if lost etc. which fortunately, I have never had to use but as far as my knowledge goes, not any help. But hopefully, I can help you clarify what you want so others can help you.

It's happened to me. Used the home phone to call my cell phone (I knew there was a reason I had a home phone, LOL) and fortunately, it wasn't on silent. However, I must say, I've also left my phone in a shopping cart at our local walmart. I realized before I even got out of the parking lot because I have bluetooth in the car and I hook up my phone for music, so no music, no symbol of the connection. So I drove straight back and the phone was gone. So I went in to see if hopefully someone had turned it in and they hadn't. So now I really am a nervous wreck. I go home, go to lookout security, was getting ready to wipe the phone and my home phone rings with my phone #. Someone had found it in the cart, saw me drive off, and figured out to call "home". Seconds before I was going to hit wipe the phone. Got my phone back. Ddn't know you could do it through google though.
