Root [Verizon] So...

Has anyone with VZW rooted this thing, yet? I know it's early, but I'm considering s5's for the family and rooting is important to me. If not, I guess I can wait for the lg g3, but I tell you what... the battery on this thing is pretty stellar.

I heard this device was coming to Boost Mobile too :)

It is :) I'm so tempted to save up the money then drop it on a new boost mobile S5 (I'm still rocking the boost S2 rooted). Boost says they will have the S5 in may, I was hoping to see how this puppy handles root - someone will pop up with one or more examples here shortly..... ;) I hope

If root is important to you then id suggest skipping over that device as well. save up and get yourself a developer version of a verizon phone.

Rooting is important to me, Shabby, because I'm a tinkerer. At least I was with my Gnex. Now the Gnex is long in the tooth and doesn't seem to take KK too well. I love trying out different kernels. I love fast charge. Perhaps the present hardware and kernels are so good you don't need new kernels. I'm watching. BTW, I bought the family three s5's. They're on their way. Me? I'm waiting. Maybe the iPhablet or Note 4? :p
