I got my S3 for $280 after tax and overnight shipping... in all honesty, I don't believe the phone to be outdated. I've been using it for a while and I still haven't even got a custom kernel aside from the one included in PAC installed (well I tried but I got constant FC's). It runs great though, and I'm happy with my purchase even if its not an S4/S5. An upgrade to the S5 would be best, but not at $600... thats absurd and thats also before tax... the S3 is worth it though.

hey hows it going , i installed the final ROM and i like it it works really well, but theres a message that shows no my screen once in a while it says - Unfortunately, Halo Launcher(prossesscom.mobint.halolauncher) has stopped. - is that normal or do i need an update..

Thanks ...

My guess is it's either another app interfering with it or Holo Launcher just needs an update. I've never had it before though, but at the same time I haven't use Holo Launcher since I dropped the final of this ROM. It may even be that an update to Holo Launcher is causing it...

Flashed it. Seems like you did a good job.
Only thing I am not happy with is the built in tethering isn't enabled.
I prefer to use USB tethering.

Yeah I was never able to figure it out, and since I upgraded my computer from Windows 7 to 8.1 I lost all the files I had taken apart and everything I did to try and figure it out... I never did find out why the built in tethering wouldn't work after a few releases.

thanks for the info , i'll remove some apps and see which one may be causing it , and i will also look for an update on the halo launcher..

Welcome to HaloBean ROM! :D
A Jelly Bean styled ROM based off Android 2.3.5, HaloBean (originally Halo Jelly) is the continuation of BLVCKHVLO's Halo ROM that is designed to combine looks, performance, and features.

DISCLAIMER: Neither I (Skinnyjeans21) nor BLVCKHVLO (the original creator of this rom) are responsible for any damage, bricked phones (hard brick or soft brick), data loss as a result of not backing up data properly before flashes, or thermonuclear war as a result of flashing this. YOU (the user of this rom) are hereby responsible for anything that happens to your phone after flashing this. Besides, I usually test things myself before releasing for others to test anyways unless I have a broken USB Cable or something.

TIPS
If you're in Voltage Control and your settings won't stick after a reboot, its because you never saved the settings. To save, set your values and apply. Then press the menu button on the phone and tap "save as init.d script" to overwrite the preincluded settings.

If you're experiencing bad battery drain, try calibrating. This is a rom that you MUST calibrate the battery on. There are several ways to do this, the easiest of which is by downloading an app called Battery Calibration from the market. Follow the instructions within the app (charge to 100%, press calibrate, drain til the phone dies, charge to 100 without break while phone is on, and done, or you can drain again and charge to 100 w/o break and drain and charge 2 or 3 more times to really calibrate it). This does not increase battery life, but gives you a more accurate reading of what the percentage really is, which from my tests is ALWAYS much higher than the phone says when not calibrated.

As mentioned before, most of the apps I have made user apps, so if there are some you don't need, uninstall them as you normally would through the app manager in Settings :D

Screenshots and changelog are included in the second post of this thread as well :)

Comments, suggestions? Post 'em here!
Issues or concerns? Those go here too! Others may be having similar problems too, so I ask that questions and such not be sent via PM, only through this thread for open discussion. Also, if you want to use parts of this rom (such as theming) for your own rom or for personal modifications to your rom, that is fine, but if it is released here on AF or anywhere else, remember to give credit for it! Plagiarism is one of the things that really grinds my gears and I don't take lightly to it.

Enjoy the ROM! :D

Umm... How do I setup multitasking to look cool like in the pic? The ROM is great btw!

Thanks! It's nice to see that people still use it even though I've been really inactive lately.

By multitasking, do you mean the Pie Launcher?

Yes I did. I figured it out. It is actually very useful thank you. Maybe you could add a task killer feature that you can swipe to kill like in the newer android. I don't know what all you can do with the mod, but that would be so cool. And a kill all button with it. Thank you for responding!

I don't have a warp anymore unfortunately, I handed mine down to my younger brother before buying him an LG Tribute. I got an S3. But I had issues with GPS on my S3 on every CM based ROM that eventually spread to every open-source one in general. The fix was to flash stock, update everything including baseband and such, and then reflash whatever ROM. The GPS issue went away in the ROM that started it. So try flashing stock on your Warp and unrooting and then check to see if your phone works fine. Then redownload the ROM and flash it. I honestly don't think its a ROM related issue unless its a bad download, and god knows everyone has gotten at least one bad download.
