Help Droid DNA Flashing Emtpy Battery with Charge Symbol on the Screen While Charging...

The subject about says it all. The phone will no longer power on (I think it starts to sometimes and before it get's past the white screen while booting, turns off). If I plug it in to charge, it flashes on and off the large empty battery symbol with a charging lightning-bolt in the center. If I plug it into a computer it connects and disconnects everytime the battery symbol flashes. I can only get it to continually respond when I do the diag menu (or whatever it's officially called) by hitting one of the volume keys and the screen-hide key at the same time. What should I do? I honestly don't have the $ for a new phone, and I use this phone for work :-/ Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks Guys/Ladies.

First, make sure the phone is off, plug it into the charger (not the computer) and leave it plugged in for 24 hours. Make sure the problem isn't just a dead battery. (You can't charge a totally dead battery enough in a few minutes to do more than turn the phone off when you turn it on. And if you ran it down enough that it blew its safety link [charging a fully discharged lithium battery and Semtex have a lot in common], it's now hazardous waste and you'll need a new battery.)

If it still doesn't work after 24 hours, try a different charger. If that doesn't do it, since the battery isn't user-replaceable, bring it to your carrier and have them check the battery. If the battery is good you probably have a bad motherboard.
