I just tried to update and it said my phone wasn't registered then it said no update and I can check again in 24 hours. I been using this phone the past month, what's it mean not registered?

Apparently the update is coming out in batches. That is supposed to go away once your device gets the go ahead. Just what I have seen posted other places.

Yeah I read a little about it and it's like you say, dunno when i'll get the update but it is official that this phone is being updated.

Ok this is what ya gotta do. You gotta go to the att website and start a live chat session with a representative, explain the problem and ask them to push the update. Make sure you are on wifi cuz it takes close to half an hour to download from them. When it's complete, you'll see a blue check mark at the top of your screen. Make sure your phone is charged at least 50% and follow the steps.

I went through that process with the online chat rep twice, but the update did not install. I still had the "Device Not Registered" message. I have also received the blue arrow more than once, but nothing ever downloads. I'll be patient for another week and then try tech support again.

I got the update from AT&T last Friday. So far I am not very happy with it. Battery life cut in half. Slowed way down. Sit and wait on web pages to open. Apps very slow to open like iheart. Have to wait on screen to catch up on my typing. Google not recognizing my voice anymore. Lots of changes to screens. I can now use some new apps that I couldn't before update. It took about 2 hours to update.

Got it last Friday, not very happy with it. Cut battery life in half. Really slowed everything down from web pages, typing and opening apps. Took about 2 hours to update. On the good side I can run new apps that I couldn't before. Also google not recognizing my voice.

Battery life is really poor now. That was one of the things I liked best about this phone, I could go all day and still be at 40% on the drive home. Saturday I was at 20% before lunch. Web speed seems the same. What new apps?

Something must be up with your phone, cuz i've gone 2 days without charging before and that's with daily use. Only thing I don't care for with this update, is all the icons being white. I liked having colors. Wish they had more for chat theme variety too.

Careful if you have any apps saving anything to the MicroSD card, you loose write permissions to the card with this update

Battery life is back up to speed. Not sure why, I didn't delete any software. Whew. No alarm about the update now.
