Root [Boost Mobile] Working ROMS/MODS/KERNELS/MODEMS/ECT for the Boost S3

What carrier do you have now and yeah you got a steal of a deal especially if you didn't pay any money just a flat trade
I always wished boost would get a note since the first one

No money on my end phone for phone trade but i did give up two cases two stock batteries and a zero lemon battery as part of the deal. Im on tmobile but i got the 5gb a month plan missing my unlimited but i dont really use much data outside the house and inside the house i use wifi.

The note 3 is still selling for somewhere around $475-500, while the s3 is closer to the $200-$250 mark.

I'd say you did quite well.

Yep I agree with the guy above me lol he took the words out of my mouth I would have gave them the cases for free with the phone anyway because s3 cases won't fit on notes so no reason to keep it lol but I'm going to look into talking to someone at boost and see if I buy a note 3 and get a sim card will it still work on boost because if it will I'll just do that I've heard of people flashing other phones to boost and I've heard some people have even been able to use there sprint device to my understanding but I never saw this first hand so I can't say but it's worth a shot

I have multiple evos and an evo 3d that are working on boost and were sprint phones. It's easy to do but I'm not sure how you can get 4g working doing that method.

I went back to Moar 9 and everything seems to work good but play store like lagged out really long before doing an update, we're talking like 5 min, and this is on wifi to.

I've noticed this on pretty much every rom I've installed it delays for that first download or update, after that it works normal.

So it got me wondering why. So just out of curiosity why does the first initial update or download take forever after installing a fresh rom?

My experience is that it can vary for the time it takes to do that first one too.

After you install a new Rom Google updates Play Services. You can't install this yourself. You have to wait for Google to start the update. It usually occurs without you getting any notification but sometimes you will see the progress bar.

Also, it is common after that for Play to get stuck creating the main screen. If you close it and maybe even reboot before going back in, it will usually come up faster.

Did a PRL update just now and got 33031.

Yep. That's what I got when I updated.

I was thinking about trying a Sprint prl but may hold off for a bit. I'm getting decent signal here at the house. If I can get decent signal here, I'm good to go just about everywhere else. LOL!

This was done in Bakersfield yesterday. It peaked at 12 but dropped back down. Still a decent average.

Other than Omni rom and LS I haven't ran across any but I'm taking my time because I know I'll flash them all lol but I'm sure there's a few I'm missing I know for sure aokp hasn't updated to 4.4.3 yet they like to get almost every super stable before releasing I'm waiting for them also and beanstalk to drop
Any other roms on 4.4.3 yet? I'm not so patiently waiting for AOKP lol.

Have you noticed any major differences on 4.4.3?

For Omni yeah for LS no they are even still using the same 4.4.2 dialer I'm thinking this is for stability though because I haven't gotten one system ui crash and when I was on Omni rom the dialer crashed a few times nothing to nag about it was the first build of 4.4.3 rom they released so in sure they've fixed it but overall 4.4.3 roms seem a little more smooth and put together. It seems they even got the animations together sometimes the animations would be kinda choppy or it wouldn't show the full one and if you asked me I kinda thought the volume on 4.4.2 roms was kinda low but it seems to be fixed here noticed it especially on Omni rom and for me at least bluetooth is a something I use everyday I connect my phone to bluetooth in my car and sometimes it would just disconnect on its own or freeze for a couple of seconds then reconnect but it's smooth on both roms now
