Deer Hunter 2014

Does anyone play deer hunter? being playing it a few times on my phone for roughly 2 or 3 mins and it seems to drain my battery quite bad, if anyone else experience this?

What is fast? Is it only deer hunter? What about other games?

So far my note 3 handles very well with games. TDKR, plant vs zombies 2, and castle clash all play well with very little battery drain.

Just keep in mind your battery will drop faster when playing games.........

i used to play it more back when it was a real sim, like Deer Hunter 5 (funny, coming from a guy who hugs deer and hates the idea of hunting in general) which had this neat 'manage your own herd' gamestate, as well as vehicles to have fun off-roading in (including boats)

today, on PC and mobile, it seems to have become a rather bad Call of Duty rip-off, complete with objectives, limited gameplay (arcade style, time limit) and a very lobotomized multi-player to complete the CoD crowd. (unfortunately, you cannot play AS the deer like in Deer Hunter 4). the graphics and framerates are wonderful which is a shame they turned it into a typical FPS genre instead of a sim.

Physics are as bad as CoD too, such as shooting a deer in the head not killing them but shooting them in the hoof is a one-hit kill. when you earn a one-hit kill you get this very unnecessary cinematic from the perspective of the bullet/bolt and a very badly done sound effect of the animal dying. i know deer being close to them many times in sanctuaries and i can tell you they do *not* baa like sheep. dying or otherwise.

I've been playing it since it was just released and I can safely say that I have not run any game that drained the battery faster than this one. I'm not sure what's going on but it's a killer. I lose over 30% before I run out of energy.

Do yourself a favor and quit playing it now. It's quite addictive and you'll end up signing up for countless mailing lists and buying all kinds of cheap crap just to get some gold coins. I think I'm finally over it for now. It's a fun game but I don't think I'll ever play another glu game as long as I live.

Deer Hunter franchise was better with WizardWorks doing the development. Deer Hunter 5 was the five-year anniversary and sadly the last of WizardWorks development. then Atari and Infogrames got hold of it, with hilarious graphical glitches (inverted sky, alpha channel issues, and deer becoming elastic, flying, or melded into trees and fences) and then Glu Mobile turned it into a bad Call of Duty ripoff. it cannot be taken remotely seriously because it is so unrealistic. worse yet i dont get the in-game chat or the ability to kill other players in the multiplayer so i cannot even knife people and hear reactions which i loved doing with CoD.

worst part of this game is that you cannot choose your target. it locks you into a specific species. it is called Deer Hunter 2014, so why must i eliminate a bear when i want to pick off deer? bears also seem to have infinite health in this game, too. forget hitting vitals or using that money-depleting xray view, just shoot at the feet. on-hit kill every time.

Did you have to do anything to get the note 3 to play Deer Hunter? My Note 3 just locks up. I can play on my tablet and use to play on my Note II but for some reason the Note 3 will not work. Any suggestions?

nothing special....on my note 3 it runs perfect.....never really played it all that much.

maybe just try and shut your phone off completely and try running the game....or even uninstalling it and re-download it again.
