Rumored HTC Smart watch-Would you buy one?

Poll needed? :D

Personally, I don't really want a "wearble". I don't/won't wear a watch.

The HTC.com | HTC Mini+ seems like a better solution for my situation. It probably does everything the watch could/would do, as well as place calls, in a small, light, form factor that doesn't have to be worn. Many people probably disagree with this and think the Mini+ is stupid. People knocked on it pretty good when it was released. I suspect if the Mini+ had been originally re-dsigned/released as a watch with a wrist strap, many of the same people might have had a different sound to their opinion.

I keep an open mind, but for me to think about or consider a proposed watch/wearable, I believe it would have to provide some amazing new function, besides portability, that is not available otherwise.
Thats just me though.

I do wear a watch. But I expect a watch to last me a couple of decades at least, which a smart watch certainly won't.

If one comes with functionality that would make it worth it to me, sure. But so far I've not seen that from anyone. And TBH I expect Google Wear's functionality to be very dependent on Google Now, which I won't use, so think it unlikely that an Android smart watch will have much to offer me.

That's a pretty legitimate reason. A few decades is a very good rule, though most would say a few years. I'm you stick by your standards, though. That is very admirable. While if I wear a watch, I doubt I would need it to do more than just tell me the time. Ya know?
