yeah i understand that now just wasn't doing it right :eek:

thankfully got it back but i still don't understand why it wouldn't boot up its the same build.prop only with some tweaks in it unless something was conflicting with it :thinking:

but i'm done trying to tweak it anymore think the phone is good enough the way it is by the way i really like the Mms black i had been looking for an inverted one for a while so thanks for that great job! One last question on that boot animation zip will flashing it erase the stock one cause i've notice there's 2 of them in the system\media folder? thanks

Glad you got it sorted out

If you are asking about the flashable SuperROM boot animation, it replaces /system/media/bootanimation_boost.zip

Will you try clearing the data for the voicemail app? Go to system settings, apps, "All" tab, Voicemail, Force stop, then clear data. Try opening voicemail after that. Thanks

SuperROM v4.2 is now posted

Changes:

Fixed voicemail issue
Made the send button on the messaging app brighter
Updated apps

NOTE: If you do a dirty flash (flash without wiping data), you may have some issues with the voicemail app. This can be solved by uninstalling any updates you have for the vm app, clearing the app data for the vm app, and rebooting. As always, it is best to wipe data before installing roms

hey all, if you read my last post i said im leaving but i saw superr upgraded his rom so i knew i has to come back to grab it. All i can say is wow. he really outdid himself this time. perfect rom. as good as its going to get on this phone. if youre still on this phone and need a fast reliable rom, get superrom asap. just dont forget to thank superr for his great work!

Am I just supposed to flash this zip file thru cwm and that's it?
My vmail has been working just fine since the first time I updated to 4.1. No issues. Haven't updated to 4.2......yet.

Yes, but only if you are running a stock based rom. It probably won't work on cm.

I meant to say the original 4.2 b13 update. Not the newest one you JUST did. So, yeah, I'm running the rom that this forum originated from. (4.2 b13)

If you are running SuperROM 4 or below, the flashable boot animation will work fine. If you are running SuperROM 4.1 or above, the boot animation is included so there is no need to flash it.

Gotcha. Also, my keyboard disappears constantly. Mostly when I'm typing a comment or whatever on Facebook or any type of messaging/typing online. Don't have any issues when I'm texting tho....that I remember, lol.
Here's some pics of that issue I mentioned a few posts ago about my screen freaking out when I'm online. (hope the show up)

What version of SuperROM are you running? If not 4.2, you may want to update. Hopefully it will fix your problems as well.

Oh, you are not on SuperROM at all? If you are running b13 anything the boot animation will work. To my knowledge there has only been a v4.2 since today though so I am a bit confused.

This ROM is based on the newest Jelly Bean 4.1.2 B13 update. Some apps have been removed to reduce size and bloat, some apps added because they are great. It uses Epic Launcher based on AOSP 4.4.2, has Xposed Framework pre-installed, includes Tweaked Mms.apk, Serenity kernel, Google Keyboard, wifi tether, performance tweaks, host file tweaks, Kit Kat themed status bar, AOSP Lockscreen, and more. Enjoy

How To Install:

Download warp2_SuperROM_B13_v4.2.zip to your sdcard

Reboot into CWM recovery

MAKE A BACKUP (optional, but highly recommended)

Wipe data/Factoy reset

Install warp2_SuperROM_B13_v4.2.zip from sdcard

Reboot

Enjoy!

NOTE: Since this ROM is unsigned, Signature Verification will need to be disabled in CWM. This can be accomplished in the same menu as "Choose zip from sdcard". It says something like Toggle signature verification.

NOTE2: I recommend turning on Power Toggles, which gives you the notification area power widgets

NOTE3: Your device must have CWM to flash ROMs. If it doesn't, please check out Warp2 CWM & Root Flasher

NOTE4: This ROM does not update partitions. You need B13 partitions to run this rom successfully. You can download them here.

How to use Xposed Framework:

Once the ROM is running on your device, go to your app drawer and select Xposed Installer. Click Framework, then Install/Update and give it root permission. Hit cancel when it asks you to reboot, then go back and click on Modules. Check the box next to GravityBox and reboot. Now you can open GravityBox from the app drawer and start playing around with stuff.
