Root [Boost Mobile] Anyone buy this ZeroLemon 7000 mAh battery?

Did you just cut out the built in protector?

It's just glued. You can pull it off

Yep. It's very easy to remove. You may want to take a tiny bit of alcohol on a swab and run it around the inside of the case to help remove the leftover adhesive. It leaves a bit of sticky residue on the inside of the plastic case once it's been removed. ;)

Wetbiker and steelyus, I have a question for you that isn't really battery related.
Your TechArmor screen protector, did you get the matte or the clear? Does the matte diminish the screen quality like other brands of matte protectors?

Just got my tech armor yesterday. Yes, got the matte. Yes, it does ever so slightly haze the screen, but can see it better in the daylight outside than the clear ones with the glare. And it's thicker than the cheap clear ones I have been buying from ebay.

So, overall seems like a good trade off. It's not noticeably bad unless you focus on it.

I bought the HD Clear screen protectors.

I have to turn the brightness all the way up when I'm in direct sunlight. The sun out here in California is murder on any phone's display. LOL. With a protector or not. The matte actually may work better outside. As far as being inside, the HD Clear are excellent!!! They are crystal clear and bubble free.

I may order some of the matter screens.

@steelyus1. Would you consider swapping an Armor Tech matte protector with one of my Armor Tech HD Clear ones? If so, let me know and we'll exchange addresses via PM. That would be a great way to see which one works better.

Isn't sun glare the same everywhere? I know UV from the sun is more intense the closer to the equator you get, but the brightness? I wouldn't think it's different. But for sake of argument since I'm in cali as well then I'll also vote that the California sun is the worst :) (even though Cancun sun burnt me like I've never been burned before, yikes)

Yes and no. I can say even our brightest/hottest/clearest/what-have-you days here in Austin are no match for the way I could not see anything at all in L.A.

Just my experience though. I'm definitely not a scientist. Lol.

Edit: a caviat, I always have had different phones and cheap ass screen protectors also. So, All contributing factors considered.

Does anyone who has this also have the ballistic sg Max case?

Ballistic SX0932-M385 SG Maxx Case for Samsung Galaxy SIII - 1 Pack - Retail Packaging - Black/White by Ballistic http://www.amazon.com/dp/B008D4XA16/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_ckaxtb1RENESM

This is currently my case and I love it. But an also thinking of getting this battery.

Will surgery make it work?

This case isn't built like the otterbox and zerolemon cases with the rubber on the outside. So the zerolemon 7000 would be exposed if you played operation with this case.

Had one on my HTC sensation. Was a great case.

Darn. Oh well! When I get the battery guess it's the price I pay!

But if anyone is wondering. I totally recommend this case. haven't dropped it often but when I have they were rather nasty. First one crashed corner first from idk 6 feet? The second the save distance on it's face.

No damage at all!!

How does the speaker sound when the phone is laid down with this case? I'm concerned it will be muffled. I like the case I first got with the zerolemon battery because it leaves the speaker elevated when the phone was on its back. Just curious if this rugged case muffles the sound since it appears to make the back of the phone flat

The speaker is set back into the case but it hasn't bothered me at all. The case is also designed so that the edges around the screen are raised. I lay my phone face down quite a bit with no worries. This also allows the speaker to face upwards so that calls, notifications, and music can be heard clearly.

The holster also doubles as a stand. I don't use the external speaker much when listening to music but when I do, I usually have it snapped in the holster, propped up with the speaker facing outwards.

Was wondering? Do you let it drain all the way down or charge every day? I let it drain all the way down every time an then switch to another batter and fully charge it.

I let mine get below 5%. If I have the chance to charge it overnight when it goes below 5% I will charge it. If not I will switch to one of my stock batteries until I have the chance to charge it with the phone.

I have an adjustable charger that fits my ZeroLemon but I don't like to use it. I prefer to charge it with my phone. I have seriously considered buying one of the ZeroLemon wall chargers. Wy has one and says it works well. The adjustable charger I have now takes 12 hours or longer to fully charge my ZL. It takes less time using my phone. ;)

I have the ZL wall charger and is what I use when using another battery in the phone. If I charge over night in phone the next day I use phone it will come off 100 pretty fast. The wall charger take 24 hrs or so to charge and when I put in phone it will not come off 100 till like lunch time, and will last almost a week, whith a phone type charge it will last a day less.
