Root [Virgin Mobile] [ROM][NDC][STOCK][4.4.2][KITKAT][ROOTED][ODEXED/DEODEXED]- Virgin Mobile/Boost Mobile

I had the same problem. I wiped everything and flashed the singularity rom and everything started working.

Did you get it figured out? What recovery are you using? Try downloading the modem again and flashing it again. May need to flash everything again. Let me know

I guess the modem that I downloaded before was a bad download. I re downloaded and reflashed and all is well. Sorry for freaking out lol I knew that that was all I had too do.

Just installed you deodexed Rom working well but how do you stop security policy updater notification ??
ps why didn't you remove the knox apps from the rom guess you disabled them ?!?
I removed them anyway !!!

Because it's a STOCK rom. If you want to delete them, go for it. Ps...not cool to ask someone who puts a product out "why didn't you....". Just sayin :)

Should be fine. I tell folks to flash the tar first in order to get the KK bootloader and modem, but since you already have ND8 modem, then you also have the bootloader, so you should be fine flashing this on top of that. However, there is also an odex/deodex build for ND8 as well, if that's more your flavor

I believe I bricked my phone...I flashed the kk update and modem zip via recovery without flashing the nd8 tar ball.. Now my phone wont even turn on...is there any way to reverse or repair this without a JTAG to restore partitions? My phones does not respond to any button presses which means-- no recovery mode,no download mode..nothing..

Nope...afraid not. The very first line says you MUST flash the tar through Odin before you flash the zip. You could try and send it off to jtag repair, but the two guys I know that did that did not get the radio fixed, even after jtag. Sucks to hear man.

OK..thanks anyway..my WiFi is down at home so I had my girl download the files and in my rush to copy the files over and flash I didn't open your OP and read carefully before I proceeded.. My fault..although, virgin has a replacement on the way as I type this and I have my old evo 3d to use while I wait..so all is not lost l..i get a new s3(at least a refurb) right before my warranty expires cuz my charge port was on its way out anyways, and I RE-learned a valuable lesson!

I know it is their own fault and what not, but can we add, in big letters, FLASH NDC OR ND8 TAR BALL FIRST to the top of the OP? Just noticed a bunch of people bricking their phones. Also, the warning is kind of hidden on the XDA thread and should probably be in big letters not hidden by a button there as well.

Not faulting you or anything, just think that something that could brick a phone should be in big letters and completely unavoidable.

Noted...I can do that. No problem.
