I'm a tester and it should be official very soon but if you know me and trust my opinion, flash this when it drops officially!
It's probably the most perfect rom I've had on any device.
Ask any questions about it you want instead of me having to list features but it's 4.4.3 and has the new theme engine.

I also have it in my Nexus 7 but with Franco Kernel.

Running in ART on both devices and no FCs yet.
I'll post d/l. Page soon as it's official :thumbup::beer:

Check pm on 5min bro n I'll explain but it's invite only and they have a couple of i9300 testers sorry mate. Shouldn't be long though.
Think they're hoping this will be the big one for them.
The recognition they deserve.
They've even dropped all the evil clown graphics apart from the boot animation which is excellent but easily changed

Well, I flashed v.5.2 Validus yesterday, and it's the first KitKat rom that has worked properly on my S3. I think it's pretty good! The camera didnt work at first, came up with a box telling me that "unfortunately, gallery has stopped", but a couple of reboots sorted that out. Apart from that, it's been running flawlessly, much, much better than any rom I've tried lately :)
Shame about the clown graphics, but if they're easily changed, then it's not a problem.
If v.5.3 is better than this, then it will be my rom of choice for a long time to come.
Any release date for v 5.3 FL? And will it be an OTA update, or a full wipe flash?
Dave

Glad you like it man. I'm on what I hope will be the last test version of 5.3 and it is really nice. Has Hover and Floating Mode which I love. Really stable.
Lol their roms used to be full of clowns but now they're getting bigger it's just the boot animation.
Easy changed with Rom Toolbox mate.
I promise you'll like 5.3 and I'm just a tester. Not part of the team

@funky can i ask what is so different/better in this rom compared to neatrom?

Tbh I can't remember what Neat has but there's hover and floating mode..... Umm I'll try n find a feature list bro but for one it means I have same rom on my phone and tab. Really don't wanna put down sales work but I find it slick and no fCs.
Does Neat have the new theme engine?
Another thing for me is their team. I'm friends with a few and their g+ community is cool.
I'll go ask for a feature list from one of the more serious team members lol........

This is 5.2 but 5.3 and therefore 6.0 has been completely rebased (whatever that means) and has the new theme engine.
Can't remember if 5.2 has Hover and Floating Mode (excellent)
EDIT nah 5.2 has Halo (crap) instead

I say if you're happy with Neat then stick with it. I recently gave Sale a small donation for his work over the years and his builds are excellent but if you get itchy flash thumbs, definitely try 5.2 or better still wait for 6.0 :beer:

Just been told they're looking for s4 variant testers if that floats your boat mate

im interested in being a tester although it would be till the 26th july when i finally get my hands on the s5.

i have not used neatrom is over a year as sale has not released one for the s4 :( I gave sale donation as well for his great work. what exactly is hover and floating mode? For themes im using the xposed framework which works the best. Also is it a touchwiz based rom?

Nah mate its aosp based on CM, PA, and Slim (probably more) it has the new CM theme engine so no need for Xposed. Turn on ART in dev options for a fast phone.
Do you remember PA's 'halo'?
It's the new version of that, hard to explain, I'll try tomorrow when I'm sober but I just got a notification from Google Now, it popped out the top of my screen for a second for me to see, I tapped it and hit floating mode uploadfromtaptalk1404089574625.jpg
So it sits over my current screen and is usable, can be maximized or minimise or dismissed.
Any notification you don't want to "hover' or 'float' can be blacklisted in Apps.

To me it's really useful coz I use expanded desktop meaning no status or nav bars, full screen.
You should become tester.
If you don't like G+ or Hangouts I got the guy to add an email addy further down the thread

Forgot the link lol this is what I posted in s4 mate http://androidforums.com/showthread.php?p=6623249

Not to tread on funky's or anyone else's toes but you should really check out Hypermax on xda. I guarantee you'll love it plus its touch wiz which I'm more a fan of

I'm wearing steel toe caps lol.
Yeah I know nothing about TW roms so by all means go down that route.
Will it have ART though.
To me, that's one of the main reasons to go aosp but if your phone feels fast enough on TW and you like the look and functions then go TW, install Xposed Framework and do lots of fun stuff like theming, screen record, most things you can do with an aosp feature rom

Sorry I tend to be too anti-TW and I chat to a lot of people who love it. Especially rooted, custom kernel, Xposed Framework :beer:
