Do you have "location reporting" (to mothership Google) turned on or off?

Could be something to do with the web browser I was using to check it. I have IE9 here at work and it seemed like the little option to track location was there but when I'd click it it wouldn't do anything.

I still have AndroidLost which I think can do the same thing plus a lot more so maybe I just turn off ADM and not worry about it.

Found the issue, new update simply turned ON power-saving mode, works fine now.

After unsuccessfully trying to flash back to stock 4.3 for the last 2 hours...I finally have the 4.4 OTA update installing. I can't believe the total freak I've been regarding this update.

That being said...I think this is the last one the GS3 gets...I'll probably keep it for another 2 years before I finally break down and get something new. Note 5? GS6?

IMO having the Default Applications menu @ Settings》More》Default Applications is a nice feature. There was no nice way to toggle launchers in 4.3. Others may disagree but I like the new location services options...they work well on my Nexus 7.

I debated about doing the upgrade, because of the SD card problem. I bit the bullet and did it. It seemed to take forever, but all is working well. After the upgrade, I rooted with Towelroot and used the SD card fix from the Play store. Everything is working well, including my SD card. Yeah, happy as a pig in slop. (You know what I mean, but this is a family forum.)
