does anyone know of an app or a way to synchronize dismissal of notifications on multiple android devices? specifically, when i dismiss a push notification on one device it is dismissed on all my devices. thx.

I don't think there is anything like this yet.
I have noticed though, that with Gmail, if I delete an email on the computer the notification will sometimes disappear on my Android device.
If you use SMS to computer or tablet apps where it pushes your text convos to the computer or tablet it will also remove the notification when you view them on those devices.

GMail notifications are synchronized. I really wish G+ ones were. Google Calendar ones are SUPPOSEDLY synchronized, but they never are for me. It's up to the app developers, really- they'd have to simply include some type of callback that notifies the server to send some type of "clear notification" push to the device once another device reads it.
