Hi I love my Galaxy NOTE10.1 2014. I use it for work instead of a laptop. I want to root it and set it up just the way I want it, but I don't have the time to learn Android and I don't want to make mistakes. I am looking to PAY someone to be my personal Android guy. (or gal) we can Skype and you can walk me through whatever I want done I will pay with PayPal or pop money.

Unless you're self-employed, or work for a small company, many administrators will block access to their mail servers on rooted or jailbroken devices for security reasons. Unless you meet one of the aforementioned conditions, I suggest you check with your company's IT department to confirm you won't break your access before you go messing with root.
BTW, even if you un-root the device, once you've rooted you've "blown the fuse" for Knox and it will still be detected as a rooted device.

I am self employed. It's my device. I am looking for help integrating with Google drive, screen sharing and other things I know are possible, I just don't have the time to figure out

Towel root will root it without tripping the knox flag.

All info I have seen is it doesn't work or will trip it. At least for this device. Have you done this?

Can you back this up? Over on xda-developers there hasn't been a single person who has been able to root a Note 10.1 2014 without blowing the fuse.
It would be great if this were true.

Towelroot will not trip the knox circuit, but it also will not root any device with the Exynos 5 chipset, which this tablet (SM-P600) has. Sorry.
