Root [Virgin Mobile] Android 4.4.4 d2lte Nightlies

Unfortunately, another bug I noticed with the new C-RoM build is it's inability to download anything from browser. I tried using Chrome and the AOSP browser. If you like C-RoM though, use the 2nd latest build. Everything works. There are some bugs, but that's true with basically every ROM.
I just tried it and could download...
Using Chrome beta so don't know if that's it

Could be. I'm using the regular Chrome browser. One problem down. Now only if bluetooth worked. I like all the features on this ROM though. So, I'm hoping this ROM will have recent builds that will fix the bugs. AICP is another 4.4.4 ROM that has a lot of features. I only used it for a day until the new C-RoM build came out. I might be going back to it. I am glad though C-RoM for d2lte isn't a dead ROM.

One feature that I really like about the new C-RoM build is the integration of Privacy Guard and App Ops. Dirty Unicorns was the only other ROM to do that. I'm a huge fan of that.

So, I came across Sahil Munawar's Google+ page. He's the one who makes the Dirty Unicorns d2lte ROM. Apparently, he's not affiliated with Team D.I.R.T. The builds that I have posted are made by him. Unfortunately, he won't be making new ROMs for a month. But there could be hope that we might see more Dirty Unicorns d2lte builds in the future.

I just found out something interesting. Omni ROM does not officially make builds for d2lte. It's not on their list of supported devices. A developer named GideonX makes the d2lte builds for us. He's also the one who makes the Beanstalk d2lte builds I just added to the Android 4.4.4 nightlies list.

GideonX also does builds for other ROMs also. One of those ROMs is C-RoM. A few days after C-RoM makes their official build, he makes his own build. His builds aren't different in appearance. I'm assuming his changes are below the surface. Unfortunately, the newest official C-RoM build is quite buggy. I ran it all day yesterday and had a few forced reboots, Bluetooth didn't work, and wasn't able to download anything from browser no matter what browser I was using. I'm hoping GideonX makes a new C-RoM like he has on the past that gets rid of the bugs. The link for his C-RoM builds is here: index

I'm new to this forum, but have been lurking on this thread for a while. It has been a great resource for finding new roms.

I have been running the latest C-Rom release for the last few days and besides bluetooth not working, I have not experienced any of the issues you mentioned. It has been one of the fastest and most stable roms I have run in a while. I am using Gapps from Liquid Smooth which can be found by going to the link in the OP and moving up a few levels until you see a gapps folder. It's based on Slim Gapps with a few extras thrown in and works great with any roms using a TRDS dark UI toggle.

I also have to mention that GideonX is also the dev for BMS kernel which I highly recommend and run with any rom I install. Search BMS Kernel and the first link should take you to his G+ community.

I'm glad that you only had bluetooth issues with the latest C-RoM build. I might have to re-download it. The download could've been interrupted without me realizing it. Apparently, other ROMs are having the same bluetooth issues. I've read that it's not working with the latest couple of builds of AICP and Carbon is having issues too. I'm hoping that GideonX does his own version of C-RoM. He does do great work and I've heard a lot of God things about the BMS kernel.

I have has c-rom since they released 4.4.4 and only issue has been BT. I did full wipe (even internal SD and format system, always do anyway)

I read that BT problems come from Cyanogenmod, and being the base for the majority of this roms, that's probably the issue

That actually makes a lot of sense since different ROMs are having the same issues.

I found a 2nd link for Paranoid Android d2lte ROM. It has a couple extra nightly builds on it that the 1st link doesn't have. Not sure if they are 4.4.4. It looks like PA 4.4.4 FINAL is rolling out, meaning PA has gone beyond the nightly stage. But I haven't been able to find it for d2lte. For fans of PA, I suggest trying out the new builds on the 2nd link to check out what they are.

I'm already looking through the list of ROMs hoping one of them is Android L. Probably won't happen until the fall with its official release. I agree though, it looks awesome.

Well nexus 5 & 7 got the Dev version yesterday. So hopefully when it actually comes out. Some one will port it. They have the keyboard which I'm trying out! :D

Is it possible to dirtyflash a 4.4.4 ROM on top of a 4.4.3 is its the next gen? I.E- "flashing C-ROM 4.4.4 on top of C-ROM 4.4.3"

Don't know if that'll work. You might have to clean flash it only because it is a different Android version, although the difference is below the surface. And by the way, there is no C-RoM 4.4.3. They went from 4.4.2 straight to 4.4.4.

Maybe someone else would have more knowledge of this. Are trying to dirty flash it so it acts like an OTA?
