I try to open the camera and it takes over 20 seconds to launch, sometimes it even crashes. I only have Facebook, Messenger, Instagram and Twitter installed. I don't think it's a disk space issue so what the heck?

It's really the last time I buy an LG phone at Boost. Had the Marquee, Venice and now this :(

I think its within the realm of possibility that it might be your phone. Ive had this phone for 9months, have approximately 130 apps installed, and nothing takes more than 3-5secs to open. The only problem Ive experienced is the the GPS, but everybody seems to have that problem.

Are you rooted? If so, are you running a custom rom and kernal? If so, are you overclocking the cpu? Even though there are advantages to doing "root stuff", there are some issues that can appear.

The Marquee and Venice were dookie phones. But IMO, LG has got their sh*t together now, and I personally prefer LG phones over Samsung these days.

Lmao not when it comes to OTAs, those mofos have never changed when it comes to updates. They are literally the slowest manufacturer to release updates. Oh and good look even trying to get an update at all lol. I'll admit though with KK they updated a handful of phones compared to the past even if its phones mostly in Korea, but still extremely slow when compared to Motorola, HTC and Samsung, Sh*t even Sony is doing better than them right now when it comes to Timely updates lol.

If you are rooted back use sms backup and call logs backup for free in market. Go into recovery and clear your cache. Reboot your phone into system it will reinstall all your updates and such over again. Let it finish updating through the market. restore call logs and sms from backup. I have had a problem with Android devices over the years from long time usage the system or cache files get bloated and slow it down over time. I have a lot of APPS on my Android devices. I agree with above the only bug with this phone is GPS and update. If GPS worked I would not care about update problem. I am waiting to see update if not I will go with simplicity mod. This is a good solid fast phone.

I'll give you the point for the updates, or lack of updates. But strictly from how the phone functions, LG has surpassed Samsung in just about all categories. I think where Samsung went wrong (even though it was a smart business move because it made them a ton of $$$) was the "S" line. They seen how popular the S2 was and they couldnt wait to pump out the S3, 4 and 5 with little innovation with each phones release. IMO, the LG mid- top tier phones are the best money you can spend right now.

Did you really just make that comment when you have a phone from them that doesnt even functions properly when it comes to GPS? lol :D

I'm not saying you're right or wrong but i've had 1 samsung phone is the past, it had a major issue with the touchscreen see here.

Now that was a software issue within the kernel touch screen drivers, Samsung pushed out a fairly quick OTA to correct the problem while also updating us to a higher android version. In my opinion, i'd prefer Samsung when it comes to mid range devices and their specs and functions. Do i like their software? ehh not really but i can handle it, no locked bootloader? i can definitively handle it lol:D. We've all contacted LG about our GPS issue and each time its the same bullsh*t excuse saying " LG isnt aware of any issue with the GPS on your device". Now whether thats because they are too damn lazy to actually analyze and realize that their is an issue or they know about it and and refuse to comment on it because its more of a hardware issue than a software issue where a quick OTA could fix. Point blank they suck at supporting mid range devices when compared to Samsung, this god damn phone doesnt even have a simple ambient light sensor *they only put em in flagship devices* . I like the designs of their devices and i like their new UI skin that they debuted on the G3 but i promise you, that you wont find me with another LG phone after this one unless its a flagship device.
