I have a new battery for my phone which is 2 years old. To charge it, I have to switch it off, remove the battery and put it back again and start it. Only then it charges. Whether it try to charge it through the usb cable or the charger/adaptor , the symptoms are the same. Sometimes when after I have charged it and am using, the phone automatically shows 100% charged. Most of the times, when i try to switch off the phone, by pressing the power button and selecting switch off from the menu, the phone restarts instead of switching off. What I am most concerned is why should i switch off, remove and place battery and only then the charging works. Anyone pls help.
