I got the 30day email first, I believe that is just their default for when they don't know. The one above is the second email I just got. I am verizon too.

I ordered this on my son's line, using his upgrade. I planned on activating the G3 on his line at the store, replacing his DNA temporarily. Then taking it home and putting his DNA back on his line with the G3 sim that they activated in store. Then using the sim from my GS3 swap the G3 to my line to keep my unlimited data. Anyone else did this? Is there any time period I should wait before putting his old phone back on his line and swapping?

Eh I think it is only for pick up only.. Unless I misunderstood your post..

Why don't you pre Order now since it is only 99.00 before it goes back to $199?

I'm waiting for the Verizon model to be available to ship to my house so that I can keep my unlimited data. It's worth it to wait for that even if I have to pay $100 more for the phone.

I didn't get to pick mine up until 20th cause of wife's bday weekend, family visiting etc.

I did pick it up, Activated on my son's line. Took it home and swapped the new sim to his phone to activate his old phone with his number. I took my sim from the S3 and put in the G3. Everything activated, still on unlimited on my line with the G3. Guess it all worked out fine.

I just went to Best Buy's website to see about the process of keeping my UDP. Here's what Best Buy is now saying:

When i got my phone from best buy, it seems i had an old sim card and when i swapped to G3 it did not work.

With that being said, the trick is you get the phone from Best Buy. Once it arrives, DO NOT TURN ON THE PHONE.

Remove the SIM card from the new phone, and insert the sim card from your old phone with UDP and than turn it on..

That still supposedly works..
