can anyone help please I am using Samsung note 3 , when i go onto s voice and ask to send a text, to carol for instance it asked which carol do you want to send it to but its the same number only difference one has a photo and one does not please help as its driving me mad

Have you tried combining these two contacts into one?
It could just be that one has an email or one was imported from Facebook or something similar.

Yah, it doesn't matter if they're the same. You need to combine them and if you have more than one number listed (even if it's the same one), it will want you to say "Call Carol Mobile/home" or whatever. It's a pain but that way it makes sure to be completely accurate with what you want. You can combine the two contacts by long pressing on one of them and choosing "link contact". It will present you with what it thinks are matching choices. Pick the one you want.
